I have been going here for years and it just keeps getting better and better. They have things for all ages for kids. It’s clean and organized. They even have a snack shack and eating area. They recently expanded and have more seating and lounge area that is a plus. Best place for the prices and what they provide in Indiana. Only downfall is I wish they would open up for the summer sooner and stay open during the week and weekends until at-least September for families with little kids or even adults. I would give less stars just for that reason. But since it’s the only places this nice around or even in the state of Indiana I’ll keep it five stars.
So appreciative to have a waterpark in Kokomo! Thanks to our fine boys in blue for a free night out complete with hot dogs and chips!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
It's fun for the whole family. They have a play area for the little ones and a good-sized pool for the adults. If you want, you can just relax on the lazy river. The lazy river isn't anything special as far as super big, but it's certainly an enjoyable experience to relax and enjoy the day. The prices are pretty sweet, too. Only $5 per adult, $4 for children, and 2yr or younger get in free. That's pretty reasonable with the inflation being what it is. Just have to remember they open at 11 am and close at 7 pm so you have to get there when they open to enjoy as much time with the family as possible.
It was great for families. They have two big water slides for bigger kids/adults, two smaller ones that empty into an actual pool, two "splash pads"...one, the traditional splash pad for little kiddos, and two, the bigger splash pad with slides and bigger water buckets. They also had a nice lazy river. The life guards were paying attention and actually knew how to blow their whistles, which was reassuring! They were helpful, if they saw you needing assistance. There was an officer checking bags at the entrance I appreciate that!. They also have life jackets there to use. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because the bathroom/changing rooms were GROSS...but they always are at public pools! Overall, we had a great experience at Kokomo Beach.
I have spent the majority of my summer days, for the past 12 years, at Kokomo Beach. Originally, it was with one grandson. Now it's three grandsons and a granddaughter. We really enjoy going here. If you plan on going very much, it's a good idea to buy a summer pass. It costs more in the beginning but if you're going to go more than a couple of times a week for the whole summer, it's well worth it. Plus, if you want to just go for an hour or two you don't feel like you're wasting money. Or, if it looks like rain, you can go and you're not losing anything if the pool closes due to thunder and lightning. Check it out if you've never been here!
This place is amazing. My wife and daughter had a really good time. The slides were a lot of fun. You could definitely spend the entire day here. The price is really good. Will definitely go back before summer is overWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$6–10
I was very impressed how clean the park was, I love how there were a lot of activities in the water for kids and a nice large pool and lazy river on tubes for kids and adults. But in the lazy River I was not impressed at all with the lifeguard's, they either had their back away from the river while kids were under their tubes. There were sometimes four boy and girl lifeguards at one station talking not paying attention. Staff in blue were sitting there too with them . One boy lifeguard had his head down the whole time looking at the water and playing with the water with his fingers, he was alone. I would not feel safe to leave my kids here under their supervision I would need to be with them at all times . The lazy River is where this was happening it didn't seem to happen at the pool area. Just my observation wanting to keep it a safe place for all to enjoy.
We love this place! It is family friendly, a small water park. You are only allowed to bring clear water bottles. We brought a picnic lunch & are it outside the park. There are 2 picnic tables. They also have a small restaurant. It has an amazing lazy river, fun water slides, lap lanes, pool & splash pad.
My 3yo loves going to the pool. They have a splash pad area for tiny tots who don't want to get in the pool yet. In the shallow end they have multiple splash fountains, if you want to relax you can chill on the lazy river. Fun for all can be found here.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$6–10
