Kool Smiles

I took my baby here for his first dentist visit, and the staff was great! I was nervous about how they would be able to even get him to open his mouth, as he hates having anyone poke in there. The dentist and hygienist were quick and gentle! My baby had a great time at his first visit to the dentist. They answered all my questions and were very helpful. The office staff was friendly, and they were on time too! It was an all-around great experience for me and my son.

First time here and the staff has just been amazing. Definitely professional and courteous <3 will recommend to other parents for sure! *update* had such a wonderful experience including a same day extraction that I came back today for my other child. So happy with Kool smiles staff and office

I needed a new dentist for my kiddos. My friend recommended that I bring them to this Kool Smiles and I'm so happy I did. As soon as I walked in the staff was really helpful and nice. One staff member in particular named Nydia that works at the desk was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. This office seems to get pretty busy but every patient gets treated the same as soon as they walk through the door and I noticed Nydia managed to greet each and every single person walking through the door as well as doing whatever work she had in front of her. This office is clean and even has a play area for the kids while you wait which isn't long at all I appreciate the friendly customer service and great dental experience for my kids!

I have been here going on 3 hours. The office has been practically empty the whole time. I don't understand what was taking so long especially when I walked through the door, there was nobody else waiting in the lobby. Some of the staff is friendly the lady at the front desk isn't rude but she's not very welcoming at all. Usually when a customer enters a business, they are welcomed and treated as if they their business is greatly appreciated. That's not the case at all. The doctor we saw was nice and kept me updated with what was going on. She'd probably be the only reason I go back to this location if we go back at all! I used to go to the Kool Smiles at McCreless shopping center and we were always in and out! The staff at that location is super friendly.

Wow I was extremely impressed with this dental office. These professionals know there stuff and know how to work with kids. From the moment I walked in I could feel and experienced the professionalism. All three of my children were nervous, but the staff made them feel so calm. My daughter was the worst of all she had so much anxiety THANK YOU TO ENRIQUE for explaining every step on her while doing the sealants WOW you were so patient with her. She was so appreciative and so was I. Thank you to all your staff. GREAT 4 STARS TO STAFF AND DR.. True meaning of team work you all were amazing.

Dr. Petty and his assistant Rubin were very professional and quick with the procedure. Dr. Petty kept asking my daughter if she needed anything before procedure making sure she didn't feel any pain. Two wisdom teeth were pulled out and it was Awesome to watch because of how smoothly it was being done. Very satisfied with Kool Smiles

I was very happy with how the staff treated us. From the front desk to the dental care that was provided. Everyone was very nice and very professional. My son and daughter were very happy to have seen the dentist. The whole staff made it a wonderful experience. Will definitely continue to go to this dental office.

Been coming here for over 6 years and I will not stop now. There are 5 members in my family that have their dental work done and I have never had any problems. All the dental work done on my children is necessary and is clearly shown why in x-rays or visually in the mouth with an explanation. I typically schedule all 5 of us in one appointment slot and this is not a problem for the staff. They are efficient and we are seen within a few minutes.

The Kool Smiles location on Bandera Rd. in Leon Valley was clean and professional. They take C.H.I.P. which is a bonus. They have an assessment/hygiene bay that is very clean and inviting for children and parents alike. I liked the fact that several kids could be in the same room which I believe adds to making the children feel at ease because they see other kids getting work done. They also have benches right there by the bay so that the parents can sit and easily view their children who are in the same room and only a few feet away. When my son had to have work done, then they took us into a private room. The hygienists were very nice!! Destiny Q. was very personable and friendly with my son and I. She told my son every step of what she was doing and really made him feel comfortable and less tense. Dr. Patrick was extremely nice and also made my son feel very comfortable. This Dr. was professional in her dealings with all of her coworkers and was very good at shifting from patient to patient with tact and ease. She displayed a sense of humor and a fun attitude that would make any child feel less tense about going to the dentist. I would highly recommend Kool Smiles on Bandera Rd. The only small drawback was the intake experience with the receptionist. She did not seem to be very enthusiastic or happy; she looked rather "down in the dumps" if you will and she said that she could not find my sons insurance. I had to call the insurance and then after some time, she all of the sudden looked it up and found it. It would be nice to have friendlier and better trained person at the desk to make a better first impression. Other than this, the experience with the other staff and Dr. Patrick made the experience wonderful!!

I am so happy with the 5 star service I was given today. Dr. Sawyer and Mariel Perez Hygienist were amazing. From the office managers to all staff I give 5 stars as well. I had an amazing experience. I highly recommend everyone to come to this clinic. The great energy created is contagious! I was treated with such great care. I felt so comfortable from the moment I walked in. I was greated with a smile by the office manager!!! Super star customer service. Great job Kool Smiles!
