First time to this local store, purchased a bag of mandarins. The package looked very nice, but when I got home, 4 out of 8 mandarines already rotten. Very very disappointed! The store is convenient, so if you have to shop here, shop with care! I'd rather go somewhere further.
Great store with a huge selection of kosher food
Very delicious market. A great variety of top notch food. The prices are reasonable for today's economy. The shawarma is out of this world.
Once they sell you a product that expired then all trust of that store is gone. I don’t have to stand and examine each item for expiration dates as that’s their job. Gets a rating of a zero. Found out once I opened the package.
Nice super market with a good bakery, tasty breads and baked goods, good selection at the deli. Good selection of Persian specialty foods and spices.
OVERPRICED. Masters in price gouging. A lot of times food is stale. You would be lucky getting fresh items in this place. Your odds winning the lottery are higher, than getting quality food. They should be reported to the authorities.
Their meat is of extreme poor quality, it smells and tastes very bad. Their general groceries are overpriced. A lot of products are expired, yet they are still being offered for sale on their shelves. Take a look at the photo of the parmesan I posted. If you care about your health and your wallet, I highly recommend to shop elsewhere. Prices keep going up, quality keeps going down. Very sad.
Expensive but good quality food. Always few cashiers on weekends. Have to wait long.
I have been always shopping from this place except that last year that I was far from the area. I came back last week and was happy to buy persian items but I got so disappointed in the quality of items. Ash Reshteh was very bad, not cooked enough with very few reshteh in it. The herb was wrong! Everything was basically dumped in the container half cooked. Very disappointing. The sangak bread that I used to this time was dark and burned or close to burned on large areas. Low amount of sesames on the bread. Not good quality. I shopped from Jersey stores a while a go and they have way better quality. I got grilled eggplant from Jersey $3 cheaper than here!!!! Not sure if anyone conduct quality control or check of the products at Shop Delight. I got a cut fruits plate which had the majority of bottom layers gone bad already. Very bad experience. I won’t shop from here anymore unless for dry canned items. I would check expiration dates as I just realized what I bought was expired. I also got their kabob sandwich while I was there. Meat was old and tasted weird. Health Department or DCA should definitely check out this place.
They have the best Sangak, but not really good bakery in general. The cake quality is like the ones you can find at Walmart. Loads of sugar without good texture or flavor. We threw away both roulette cake and chocolate mousse cake after having just a few bites. Their cookies are much better than their cakes.
