Hello all, I work for Kraft Heinz. Have for just over 30 years. After reading some of the reviews and seeing the pictures, there's something you need to understand. There are TWO businesses on this property. The tan, older looking building is KRAFT-HEINZ. The new, large grey building with dock doors around the whole place is CJ LOGISTICS. Kraft sends finished product pallets via conveyor down a gated and locked hallway to CJ for storage and shipping. We Kraft employees do not work there. Any complaints should be reviewed and written to CJ LOGISTICS. Are we perfect? No. We do try to get you in and out of the Receiving department within 2hrs of your appointment time as we are an APPOINTMENT ONLY FACILITY. Our main inbound delivery hours are 6:30am to 13:30 1:30pm if you come after 1:30pm you may have a wait as the second shift is barely a skeleton crew at best, as is the night shift. We don't typically have a lot of live loads to be unloaded in the evening or overnights. If your late or very early we do everything we can to accommodate you but not guaranteed. Typically we are very busy. Just because every single dock door is not in use, does not mean we are not busy. Not all doors are functioning doors anymore. Come in be polite and respectful and we will be polite and respectful back to you. FYI Kraft distribution shipping typically averages around 4-5 outbound loads each day +/-.As of August 15, we've averaged around 10 loads a day. THE VERY LARGE MAJORITY GO OUT OF CJ LOGISTICS. Easily 99%. I'd recommend you check there first The grey building that will help keep you from making a tight turn around and going back there if you come to the K-H tan building first. Pick up outbound loads should always check in at the Grey building first. It's just easier, trust me. We appreciate that your time is valuable and we do our best. Thank you! Pics show the Receiving/Outbound DC door you check in at, between dock Door 51 and dock Door 52. Then, up the stairs thru the green door. Straight thru the blue door. Then to the right to the double window to Receiving department. Or immediately left behind the blue door left of the water fountain for Distribution Shipping Outbound. Also, there is a restroom and vending machines in there as well. The machines take money or something called Pay Range, it's an app you can put cash on and pay with your phone. We all use that. Much better than carrying cash and it works even if the cash part is broken. Definitely recommend the PayRange app. UPDATE: I forgot to mention that the entrance is on Mattis Ave. There is NO semi entrance on Bradley. Your BOL may say 1701 W. Bradley or 1702 or other, but actual Semi entrance and exit are at 702-710 N. Mattis Ave at the stop light near AutoZone and The Auto body shop. One way in, one way out UPDATE 12/29/22: If your bringing in packages or pallets of items to be unloaded AND you ONLY HAVE 6 pallets or LESS you should go to door 80 for our mail, parcel, LTL type unloading. If no one is around, there is a number listed to call and someone will be with you shortly. ALSO, when bringing in a load to W. Receiving, CHECK IN AT THE OFFICE between dock Door 51/52 first to be given a door number. Never back into any dock door before you check in. When checking in you will be told the following: 1. Break your seal. This should be checked and verified by security already. Please throw it in trash or on the tail of the trailer, please 2. Open the doors 3. SLIDE your Tandem Wheels all the way back. This is important as some items are tall and some are easy to tip over when unloading 3. Back into the door number you will be given at that time by the person at the desk. Door numbers are shown up near the top of the building above the doors. 4. Once the light changes to Red and we unload you and it goes back to Green. Come back inside for your signed Bills. Thank-you! Safe travels out there.
Appointment at 10:30, arrived at 10:10 was at the door at 10:28, empty at 14:05. Doesn't sound like a quick unloading to me. Laziness and slowness as in any Heinz.
I checked in 3 Hours early got a door right away. Took a bit to get loaded and they let stay to finish my 10 hour break. I read lots of bad reviews found them to be nice and accommodating. It's about attitude if you come in with one your gonna get one back. Be happy to go there again. Thanks
After looking at the reviews I was not not counting getting accepted ahead of my appointment but this Cool lady accepted me at 11Pm with my appointment 10Am in next morning. Gave me dock right away and assigned a person to unload me in at 11:15pm and unloaded in 40 min. She also let me sleep in their yard. She’s the best. Keep up the good job young lady. Thank you
Place deserves 0 stars. They will not rework load when it's 3000 more lbs heavier on the trailer than the drives. They said it's legal so they won't rework it. I told them they can have it back then. Do not come to this place.
Its sad, but its true!!!impolite in receiving!! I, personally, had an unpleasant experience! No one delivering, they ll have you wait still! Dry load, waiting hours! Never again!!!
Well I am Mexican it took time to get loaded ,compared to others drivers ,they the same I and even after me , then in my way out scale out of service leaving with 43000 lbs does it make any sense, then the actitud of the guard in you way out ,it is no actitud. , they don't want you .
Appointments mean nothing to this place! Got there 4:00pm for a 10:30pm pickup appointment. Security guards were respectful and polite, Shipping/Receiving office personal were rude. Checked in at Shipping office 4:15pm, they let me stay on their parking until they have available door. Checked with them again 10pm and still no door available. 3 hours later same thing. They have no respect even you have strickt delivery appointment on next day. After 12 hours at their facilty trucks were not moving in/out of the docks, same trucks keep on sitting on the dock. I guess they dont have enough people to load/unload the trucks. Spoke with some drivers being there already for 20 hours!!! I left without being loaded. Its your call to take the risk, but the best advice I can give you is RUN Forest, run! I will never ever go back to this place! Not worth it the amount of stress you are getting there. Even 1 star is too much for this place. Truck drivers you are warned!
Their loads are insanely heavy but they have absolutely no problem fixing it, they have an axle scale on site, they are always nice and friendly and they let you park overnight if you run out of time. How can you beat that!!!
7 stars! put me in a dock 26 hours before my appointment. Started to unload 10 minutes after I docked.
