FSM25—Fluorescence System :The FSM25 is a low cost solution for rapid stereo fluorescence microscope screening and manipulation of transgenic species. The fluorescence excitation and filtering is an elegant, low profile unit that is fitted to a compact stereo zoom body. Because the excitation light doesn’t experience losses by going through the stereo body, the FSM25 delivers more light to the sample than more expensive microscopes. For single marker screening, like GFP, the system employs a CoolLED light source, while a metal halide source with a liquid light guide is used to excite multiple wavelength fluorescence. User-replaceable sliders are set up with the different filter sets.
M2Bio: The M2Bio is the original hybrid stereo/compound fluorescence microscope with continuous zoom capabilities in both stereo and compound. The M2Bio is well known throughout the biology community as being the “go to” fluorescence microscope for transgenic sorting and observation needs for genetics, neuroscience and developmental biology. This system uses the Kramer-patented stereo fluorescence quad illuminator designed which holds up to 4 fluorescence cubes simultaneously for easy switching from one color to the next. Kramer scientific offers over 40 standard fluorescence sets packaged into the modular cubes. The M2Bio Fluorescence Microscope also features both bright and darkfield transmitted light bases for more options in viewing your subjects.
FBS10 Fluoresence Stereo: The FBS10 is the next logical step in hybrid fluorescence microscope design. This configuration was inspired by leading C. elegans researchers who needed better light throughput to identify weak fluorescence markers in transgenics without the need to remount live animals from plastic agar dishes. Manipulators and picking are accommodated by an open design with sufficient working distance even at high resolution. A pseudo-stereo feature enhance 3D imaging at lower magnification. The fluorescence turret is our unique patented design that couples to modern light sources by a liquid light guide and can hold up to 8 filter cubes. In standard form, a separate white light illuminator can be plugged into the base with a mirror reflector. For thicker transparent species, like zebrafish, a DIC option is a powerful accessory. Quad Fluorescence Systems: The Quad Stereo Fluorescence Illuminator was invented by Kramer to upgrade stereo microscopes to full fluorescence functionality. Your stereo microscope can be upgraded to stereo fluorescence with ease. The manual turret switches between 4 filter cube positions, and over 40 different filter cubes are available. For fluorescence excitation, all standard light sources can be used as input.
