Really friendly employees! You never run into any angry employees, except in the meat department, there’s a tall white lady about 50 years old. She’s mean as hell! If you make eye contact with her, she runs! She doesn’t want to help the customers. Otherwise great store. Maybe they can talk to her, I quit buying from the meat counter, I don’t want to deal with her.
I want to publicly thank a beautiful Angel who works at Kroger on State for helping me last night. Her name is Bettina. I was doing a big Instacart shop for a customer and I had two carts of groceries. First Bettina insisted on helping me take the carts out to my car, then when I was done putting the groceries in my trunk, I got in my driver seat only to find that my phone was missing so I couldn’t get to the customers address. I searched everywhere and even asked a nice couple who pulled up beside me to call my phone but it was on vibrate so I could not hear it. I went inside to see if it was at the register that I checked out at but it wasn’t, and Bettina handed me her phone to take back out so I could call my number over and over listening for the vibration. I was in panic mode by then and she came back out and searched my car with me. She kept me calm and was just so kind. About an hour after I lost it I finally found it in the bottom of one of the customers grocery bags it must’ve fell into. This young woman has a heart of gold and renewed my faith in our younger generation. Give her a big raise so you can hold on to her Kroger.
Worst store I’ve ever known to exists. Price gauging up to $120 above the national average, yes you read that correctly just check out the app some items are $78 for shipping, I found ketchup for $120. Insanely bad product quality. This company isn’t going to last
Standing in the checkout line now for 10 minutes & have not moved. The cashier cannot help the customer, had to call for a manager. Still two customers ahead of me. This is insane. If I didn't need what I have in my cart, I would have walked out.
God awful customer service. Despite record profits, Kroger pays low wages and is constantly understaffed. So now pickup orders for us are ALWAYS delayed, except they don't bother to let you know until hours later. They used to be delayed by a few hours, now it's the next day. Either pay more and get more staff, or remove pickup orders.
This location has gone down hill since it's opening. It's dirty, shelves are empty, shelves are disorganized, employees are not available to help or are disinterested in helping you. All around poor example of how a business should be run.
I have found all of the groceries I need for my meals and they have a lot of varieties of food and meat and fresh vegetables and can goods. They have great cards and gifts and personal items and can get almost every thing you need!
This Kroger always has huge lines at checkout. When it's busy, sometimes worse when it's not particularly busy. They don't open self checkout lanes, and the front staff are kinda rude.
Love the place but it was super busy. Seemed more reactive rather than proactive on their part. I can't wait to buy some wine from here they have so much now! It's pretty exciting honestly! Favorite grocery store nearby for sure.
Huge grocery store since remodel. Produce is nice and fresh. They have specialty items, including cheeses. Deli is big with a cafeteria, but don't get too excited to get anything from the deli. Planned on getting a chicken dinner for my family, but the worker was so SLOW and the people in front of me were already highly irritated for waiting so long. There was another worker down by the cheeses, ignoring the line and customers. Ended up going to KFC after I left so I didn't waste 30+ minutes waiting, since there was no chicken cooked. I've always liked this store, especially when they have good sales. However, first time here in a few months and the inflation of everything is EXTREME. Way more than other stores. Very shocking and disappointing. If something isn't on sale, go to Meijer, Walmart or Aldi, prices are way cheaper. This store used to be A+, now it appears to be going downhill post pandemic. Oh, grab a cart from the corral outside, there isn't any inside 5-6pm. My cashier and bagger was super nice.
