I’ve been in this line for 30 mins. This is my third visit to the pharmacy all for the same medication they didn’t fill yet. Even when the online app said it was ready. I’m moving all my family’s Rx
Worked in the pharmacy part time for couple of months, the patients were wonderful, kind and often frustrated which was understandable and I worked with some good people but… the company in itself I would never work for again. When I go in there and get my medication refill I have much respect for the people working in the pharmacy it’s a hard and frustrating job at that. You would have to work in one to understand, if have to I will wait for medication. The four stars are for the employees pharmacy working their butts off.
I called in 2 prescriptions on the 18th of November for my husband because I had to have surgery on the 21st and when I called last week they said that they were filled on the 22nd. I went in yesterday to pick them up, had 8 people in front of me and none of their prescriptions were ready. When I got there they told me that they were working on 4 prescriptions and I told them that the one I didn’t need. I ask them about the ones it said was ready on the 22nd and she told that I didn’t get told that. My husband has been without his one prescription for over a week. But they don’t care
Absolutely awful. They where for some reason closed on Thursday. I called and left a message to have my prescription filled and followed the directions. I called Friday twice and they never answered. So I went and stood in line for an hour just to find out my prescription wasn’t filled. When I finally went Saturday to pick up my prescription the old pharmacist couldn’t even find the two basket they had with my prescription that where laying right beside him. Awful place to do business with. Just have them transferred to waynesboro DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME!
Amazing customer service, techs and pharmacists often going above and beyond to make sure you get the help and info you need. Incredibly efficient even when short staffed; staff are always very patient and willing to answer any questions I might have. Very pleased that I made the switch to them from Walgreens.
Most of the staff members are quite nice. The store, however, needs more staff. It isn't unusual for me to stand in line 20-60 minutes sometimes I get lucky and there is no line, but it isn't often. With increasing frequency I'm told my prescriptions aren't ready after being told they would be at a certain time. One time recently, I came back 4 times to get told each time the prescription wasn't ready even though they said it would be ready by that time. Finally I sat and waited so it seems like that is what finally prompted them fill it. At this point the only reason we use them is bc it is the lowest price we can find for most of our prescriptions. Today I let the phone ring over 20 minutes and no answer. So I called the store and was told only the pharmacist is working, there is a line and they could take my number to be called back when the pharmacist has a chance. This tells me when I try to get my prescription tonight it's likely I'll stand in line a long time, then I'll be told it's not ready. I will say I'll wait and then plop myself down, then it will be filled. Otherwise I'll go tomorrow and wait in line for 20-60 minutes, and do it again the next day, etc. I should not have to carve out 90 minutes per week to pick up prescriptions.
I do not care if I have to pay more, I am going elsewhere! I should not have to wait in line for 30 minutes or more to be told my prescriptions were not filled . I always call them in 5 to 7 days earlier and they have never been ready. I have tried calling to see if they are filled but they don’t answer. I’m not calling in medications that I can wait for days from when I or my doctor calls them in. I should have left when I was told one of my medications would not be filled until next week which would be another 5 days totaling 12 days from calling them in and that wasn’t “too long to wait”...Seriously...How would that person at the window who told me that feel if they were in my shoes? So they have lost a customer and I will not recommend them to anyone.
Although most of the employees are friendly, the wait time to get your prescriptions is absolutely rediculous!?! The prescriptions are never ready when they say. It always takes much longer. In defense of the employees, I do think they are short handed and Kroger should hire more help for them. They do enough business to be able to afford more help. They should think of their customers and not want to keep inconveniencing them by making them wait for these extra long times for their prescriptions to be filled?????
Would suggest using another pharmacy or the Waynesboro location. Get prescriptions filled at the Staunton location at your own risk. You will get any number of excuses depending on who you talk to. Not sure if any were actually being truthful, and you will be left not being sure if/when it will actually be filled. After a week of getting nothing but the runaround and empty promises, transferred to the Waynesboro location and had it filled immediately.
Horrible. Called a prescription in on Thursday and stopped by the following week on Tuesday and it still is not ready. This us not an one- off. Consistently has been happening for both my husband and myself. They need to staff. We use well care insurance and this requires us to use Kroger. I believe they feel they do not have to staff to cut costs. Horrible service.
