Krystal Clear Aquatics

This store is a great place to get salt and freshwater fish that you don't typically see at the bigger pet chains. Their prices are actually slightly cheaper than those chains too and their customer service is what you'd expect from a small mom and pop store, which is excellent. They also have a good selection of aquatic plants and supplies and they usually have those hard to find medications you cannot find anywhere else. This place is also always immaculate when I visit and there is always someone cleaning the tanks and tending the fish.They also have a nice selection of high end equipment and also good lower priced equipment for those who like to keep it simple. They also have a really nice selection of LED and florescent lighting for all size tanks. Krystal Clear Aquatics is a must visit store if you're serious about keeping salt and freshwater fish and planted tanks. I usually try to stop in every month as their selection of fish, invertebrates, and plants is always changing.

I've always enjoyed going in here. Pickings are slim lately however the staff are great and helpful. Colleen took her time today to help me figure out a problem with one of my tanks. She was patient and kind and really made me feel a lot better about my situation.

The staff is really knowledgeable and dedicated. They have a variety of fish, corals and live rocks. It's like they have everything. If you don't see what you want, just ask them. They use high tech and reliable equipment to help test your water. Oh, the wife of the owner she's kinda old, she may look and sound mean but she's really care about your fish.

*Adjusted Review* As usual the staff at this LFS is awesome and couldn't say anything bad about them. Very knowledgeable about everything fish. I had an issue with a shrimp that I purchased here. It did not survive the transition regardless on water quality and acclimation. I was upset about spending the money on the little guy and losing him. Regardless of their policy on invert returns, they replaced the shrimp for me. This was the first lose of any live stock from those store among the other 15 or so salt water fish I've purchased here. I do want to apologize for my initial reaction towards the management, and express my extreme gratitude towards them and everyone else here. This place is a great local fish store!

Best place in the area for aquatic supplies and pets. I can't go to any chain store anymore; they just don't compare to the service and quality I get here. Krystal Clear staff will not only help you with your purchase, they will give you advice in a non-condescending way. They've earned a lifelong customer in me!

This store is the best. The most knowledgeable OWNERS. MY Mother and Father inlaw. There is nothing they do not know. And will never sell you something that you don't need or wont work in your fish tank.

On Thursday the 23 of January I went to Krystal Clear Aquatics to buy some snails or something to clean my rocks and one of the guys was very help full and gave me suggestions on what to buy . So I went to the front desk and asked the older women to help me find out how much I have on credit and with the nastiest attitude and NO professionalism said that I had some amount and that it was wrong for some reason that wasn't my fault and this is not the only time she always has had a bad attitude all the times before, I would try to avoid her and talk the older gentleman who I believe is the owner this lady needs some respect for her clients and if KCA gives out some gift for spending money at the store don't make it seem like the client is doing something wrong . I bet that people the go there can tell you the same thing about this lady, she need to take a customer service class or just go home and fight with her cat or something else ....on another note the older gentleman is very nice and can provide the best experience even if you are a rookie like me or an expert in the hobby and most of all the other employees are very helpful and nice .

The man was very knowledgeable and friendly. Fair prices with a good selection of fish. Cool selection of aquarium items and pond items. Only place around that had Water Lettuce!

These folks are great. They're friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable. If you need help starting a tank or something for your existing tank, this is the place to go. Prices are very competitive.

Not much of a selection on coral, but the place is clean and they have good stock on great fish, great customer service and many options on tank necessities, I really like the large tank decorations they have in Stock, will definitely be going back for those
