We, the members of the University of Kansas Police Department, are committed to the University community, to provide a safe environment for the University of Kansas to fulfill it's educational mission.
We exist in order to respond to the special law enforcement needs particular to this major university; working with the community using cooperative dialogue, through crime prevention and interdiction, maintaining an adaptive attitude to provide quality service through the activities of a dedicated, educated, responsible group of people.
