"Karen" answering the phone couldn't have made her words drip with any more disgust. I wonder what the doctors would think if they knew the business their bottom of the totem pole staff actually destroy for them? You couldn't pay me to make this my family's new dermatologist.
I have been seeing Dr.Kurgansky yearly for the last 20+ years. He’s the best with a great personality! My entire family goes to him. I feel he is very thorough and professional during the exams and biopsy’s.
This staff is so incredibly rude and snobby. I am always getting phone calls to reschedule because Kurgansky won’t be in that day. It’s annoying; So I get this voicemail 2 days ago that’s barely audible from Wendy about an update to my insurance. I tried 3 times to listen to the extension. I called yesterday and just asked for her; well, whoever, picked up acted like I should have known Wendy wasn’t there. So I just tried a few minutes ago, leading me to write this review. The receptionist picked up the phone and VERY RUDELY said, “This is billing…” I am so sorry that I made her use her fingers to transfer herself and made her go out of her way. Totally infuriated me-nothing is worse than when others are so condescending and act like their time is more important than yours. Also Kurgansky is extremely arrogant and I have melanoma which runs in my family. He takes about 2 minutes with my clothes still on and checks me over saying “You’re all good.” I did not feel confident or comfortable with that check-up at all— NOT-with my family history. Today was the final straw. I just found a new dermatologist and if I were you, do not go here!!! And unfortunately it is very difficult to even find a dermatologist here- most are PAs, which is fine for minor issues. But my mother died from melanoma so I choose doctors who care and take time, also very hard to find these days.
Dr. Kurgansky is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately as he is a one man operation, there are some lengthy wait times for appointments that can cause frustration, but not only is it worth setting the appointment to see him, he uses a service called next in line that you can sign up for and receive notifications for any appointment cancellations to try and get in sooner. I also see some bad reviews about the desk staff, but I've personally never had any issues with them or have experienced any sort of rudeness, I'm always courteous to them and receive nothing but the same.
Rudest most self entitled people on the planet. My grandmother was having a procedure in another building and I was sitting long ways in my vehicle in the shade. It was 7:45 a.m. not a sole around their office other than the 3 employees cars and a woman came out demanding I move my car. She claimed she had patients coming. What I found amusing about this was her along with the other employees took up the closest spots to the door but then worried about how I was parked. Based on how Dr Kurfansky staff acted I wouldn't be a patient here. Shame on you. The temperature is rising by the minute and I was just trying to stay cool. *For the record once patients started arriving no one would have even had to tell me to move. Currently it's 8:20 a.m. and not a single sole has arrived at their location yet.
Dr. Kurgansky is wonderful, however his front office staff is very rude every time we go for an appointment. After going there for years and putting up with the staff, we are done. I am sure there are other great doctors who have great staff. I have to hold Dr Kurgansky accountable as I am sure he is aware of how his staff treats people and he does nothing about it.
Dr Kurgansky is absolutely awesome!! However, his front staff is very rude. After i finished speaking with insurance carrier they still refused to go through with visit. Gave me a thumbs up when I said we will report this issue. Not the way to have your front staff deal with patients.
Horrible staff. Was treated so rudely years ago. The doctor was also very rude. Changed dermotogist to a practice in Havre de Grace for myself and daughter and they have been exceptional. The staff is wonderful and so are the doctors.
Dr. Kurgansky has treated most of my family. From melanoma, removing warts, acne and more, he has always been the best! I highly recommend him to anyone. That's if they want to deal with the secretaries who aren't always the nicest but it's worth it for his service.
Double charges for unsuccessful surgery on a simple wart. Beware. We won't be going back again because we are afraid of this unethical and bad tasting way of doing business regardless. The doctor smiles and seems nice, but the cash register is flowing. Tricked us, shame on you!
