Happens to be the go to for coast kids on medi Cal. Both of mine visited him for referrals. Their needs were more than the basic and I was assured he'd take a stab at helping. I made phone calls for reassurances and friends found him exceptional. He spent a total of 5 minutes with each of my kids and sent us on our way to find help elsewhere. We did so best of luck.
Although, I think he may be ok at his job. I think he has a problem putting $ before people health. He specifically said after xrays that he could fix a couple teeth. Unfortunately, he said my insurance wouldn't cover one and said that I would need 3000 to fix it. I could get a dental infant at that price two times over. Furthermore, he said one tooth shouldn't be an issue but then retracted that later by saying the bone was qorm down to much to replace it. These types of dentists need to be out of business, health should always be the number one priority over money. That doesn't seem to be the case with kurtz.
I've had two filling done here, now a year later one has fallen out I've had huge #s of fillings none have ever fallen out & the other is yellow & rough & collects food in an odd way. Has looked like that since day 1, every other filling from other dentists look white still years later. He's nice but the work done just isn't right.
Failed root canal. Waste of 2 hours travel and $1200.
Not a good dentist wanted money upfront for a partial when i have insurance and got confused on insurance works. I dont recommend this office we went to another dentist and our insurance paid for it.
Painless rootcanal, friendly staff. Good price for out of pocket work.
