Kwame T. Thompson is a civil litigator with fifteen (15) years experience. Mr. Thompson’s areas of practice include litigation in the substantive areas of personal injury, medical malpractice including traumatic brain and spinal chord injury. Mr. Thompson represents injured clients and their families.
Mr. Thompson received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. His pre-medical background has prepared him with the knowledge to better represent his clients who have suffered medical injuries. In 1999 Mr. Thompson graduated with his Juris Doctorate from Washington University School of Law. Mr. Thompson is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Georgia.
Subsequent to Mr. Thompson obtaining his juris doctorate degree, he joined the prestigious law firm of Bryan Cave, LLP. As an associate in the corporate transactions group, he gained experience in the area of drafting complex complaints, petitions, answers and motions for various clients. Mr. Thompson has acquired tremendous expertise in all facets of litigation as well as mediation and arbitration.
In addition, Mr. Thompson is an adjunct instructor at Atlanta Technical College (Voted Best Junior College in America by Washington Monthly Magazine). Mr. Thompson teaches Civil Litigation and Contracts in the Paralegal Studies Program. Mr. Thompson also holds several boards and commissions appointments by the Honorable Shirly Franklin, Mayor, City of Atlanta and the Honorable John Eaves, Fulton County Georgia Chairman. Mr. Thompson is also a hearing officer for the Atlanta Police Department, Vehicles for Hire Commission and the City of Atlanta Procurement Appeals Commission.
