Ky Lin Chinese Restaurant

I never review places I’ve been but I just feel so compelled because we’ve been ordering from Ky Lin since the beginning of the pandemic end I have never been so impressed with a Chinese takeout restaurant! I almost always get the same thing Malaysian style curry mixed vegetables because I love it but tonight I ordered the seafood Tom Yum soup and it is amazing. I also always get an order of their vegetable spring rolls because they are probably the best that I’ve ever had. They have mushrooms in them and other vegetables so it’s not just stuffed with cabbage and rice noodles like some of the other places I’ve gone to do. I love ordering from Ky Lyn and just wanted people to know that their food is amazing and their service as well. Everybody that I’ve ever encountered who works there has been so kind and especially during the beginning of the lockdown. Thank you Ky Lyn for the great food and service and I wish you all the best!

I ate the Ky Lin Special! I always do, it is like pork, fried tofu, and other various vegetables on top of an eggs that is grilled up boiling hot for you. I recommend this dish for anyone who comes in! I have been coming here for ages and the service and staff is always on point! The food options are good and everything always tasted great, no complaints, all quality!

Did not enjoy the food. The sesame chicken had a dark brown sauce that had a burnt flavor to it. The fri3d rice was almost white. The broccoli wasn't steamed all the way and tasted dirty. Everything about my meal had some awful flavor to it.

A really nice place to eat second time eating here, but this time this last time I visited the food had a greasy burnt taste.. Staff is very friendly. B

As an avid Asian foodie, I was really IMPRESSED with the food, staff n organization of Ky-Lin. It’s a bit of a drive to pick up as we are out of their delivery zone, but it’s absolutely worth it. It’s very high quality for sure on many levels. My favorite is the Ho Fun because their flat rice noodles are amazing, tasty n very al-dente tender. I recently called for a big take out order but they were sold out for the night. I’m happy for them that other people recognize the yumminess too! The won ton soup is great, scallion pancakes are divine, it’s a no on the General Chicken but it’s fine because their Mongolian Beef rocks n they make it to order for me without hot peppers There r many other dishes we got too as like ordering a lot so we can try them so there’s more we loved too. Their Bubble Tea is off the charts great too n unique. Our favs are the Taro , Thai Tea I get mine without ice or cream because I prefer the stronger taste of the sweet tea. Fried rice is descent too, egg rolls are my husband’s fav n the whole area of S. Jersey. We like the chicken Egg Foo Young too as their omelette pancakes are full of big onions, white meat n not greasy. They r all very friendly people n very accommodating. I’m a very appreciative diner by nature n they always go above n beyond which is cool As this never ending Pandemic rages on sadly a bright light for these appreciative foodies us is that this place is definitely a welcome addition to our repertoire of great “tried n true” restaurants that we enjoy delivery from or do pick - up from as well. We also frequently enjoy using all the Food Apps as well… We actually discovered Ky-Lin via GrubHub. We hope this place continues to thrive because we really DO enjoy their more unique approach to Asian home cooking - - -> We will b ordering again really soon!

I ordered take out today and have never been so disappointed. I got the general chow chicken combo, Tom yum soup and the sampler for two. The rice was dry, the chicken had a lack of flavor to it as if it was bland or muted. The sampler was over cooked with it came to the fried fish and the soups sea food was rubber. After a few bites my stomach started to turn. I never do reviews but for spending $60 I won’t be coming back. The only good thing was the meat stick in the sampler. Delivery person was nice.

Food is good. I ordered sweet and sour chicken. They ran out of the nugget style chicken and breaded some dark meat chicken. It wasn't to my liking. My friends meals we're perfect and up to par. They really enjoyed it. Update: 11/21/2020 I've been back to this place on several occasions. They are a quality restaurant with great food and service. The chicken had been spot on. Thank you so much for working and feeding us through the pandemic.

My daughter loves this place but finally learned a hard lesson and had to agree with my findings. Tested my suspicions and ordered take-out platters where this practice would be so obvious sweet n sour chicken and sweet and sour pork Ordered over the past several months, 1 hour after opening and 2 hours before closing times, 1X a week. Results were the same every time, dark, hard and crusted refried food. Obvious they are serving leftovers from the night before and or any leftovers before closing. I am familiar with cooking with oil and it is not oil related this food is refried. See past reviews over the years from others and you will see. Don't trust the reviews, order fried items from this place and see for yourself.
