Absolutely stunning and can be a bit overwhelming as you need to plan to spend some time here. 2 floors. Clean bathrooms. Selections like you could never imagine. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. No doubt that you can find what you are looking for…in fact you will find a few things you were not looking for.
We arrived early, at about 8:30 and beat the traffic. There is plenty of free parking with several different stores to walk through. Ben and Jerry's is on the premises. The store is currently remodeling but will be great when it's finished. Don't skip on the Home store!! It was my favorite!
It is a destination by itself. Need to spend at least half of your day. Free parking and lots of it. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of activities during summer time. There was a free evening concert when we visited. And don't forget to go to the separate outlet across the street for discounted items, as well as to the nearby thrift store to peruse more heavily discounted LL Bean items.
It’s been a long time coming to finally visit the flagship store of my favorite outdoor brand. My last visit to Maine just didn’t provide me the right opportunity to visit, but this time it did. The store being 24 hours is really unique and awesome, but just the imprint of it all is amazing. This company has built an entire village to serve all of the downeast and central Maine people. It’s something you just have to see for yourself.
What can I say it’s LL. Bean, the place is awesome. They have everything you would need in the outdoors with a wide selection. They don’t have the biggest fishing selection though. Other than that the store is great. We we’re also there very late and they were still open which was very nice, few stores would still be open.
Love it here. Big selection, kind employees, and super fun store to browse. We left with half the store! Lol.
Wow. Didn’t really expect the size of the parking lot and the store itself. I think they sell everything imaginable for the outdoors. Wish I had more time to explore, bought some great hiking pants. Be careful not to get lost, as there are multiple exits, cash registers, and parking lots.
AHH I love L.L. Bean!!!! There are so many events, activities, and shops to participate in / experience. We visited the Outdoor Hunting and Fishing building, and the Flagship store. There were a bunch of options for boots, boot sizes, clearance shoes, and great winter clothing. There are also bi-monthly concerts that take place outside of the consignment shops, which are as great as you’d imagine. Definitely a fun place to bring your kids.
The other patrons were so friendly and nice! They answered all my questions, and I never needed to look for staff. The one staff member I saw, however, made me laugh because he was dancing to the in-store music. I got a great camping chair
Fantastic customer service. We went after 10pm my husband found a pair of pants he liked but they didn't have his size in the color he wanted. They helped him order them online and will ship them to where we are staying even.we also stopped in the bike and boat shop earlier in the day and talked with an associate about inflatable paddle boards. Very knowledgeable associates. Great experience. They have so much to see and do on the campus also. It's definitely worth the stop.
