We just want to say that this company is by far, has superior customer service with attention to detail and the customers' needs. They excel with knowledge and are extremely responsive to all questions and are eager to help. They also have delivery which is extremely helpful if you do not own a truck and are prompt, polite, and professional in every aspect. This is not a big box hardware store. But at L.P. Adams they have a wide and extensive "variety" of items that rival the depot type stores. We would recommend, and often do, this store. One special Lady at the Service area is especially, patient, kind and knowledgeble and we look forward to her assistance when we are purchasing supplies. Attached is a photo of our lumber which was delivered and stacked this morning....Again, Thank You! Bob
The window guy was supposed to come in and give me a quote. He didn't even show up or and didn't call
Punctual Polite and Professional. A true testament to good ol’ fashioned Hometown customer service. LP Adams will not disappoint. As a young laborer I would come here in Porters’ old pickup trucks to get lumber And now returning 20 years later as a Customer and homeowner ,they did not let me down. Had someone from LP’s come out and measure for a custom sized Andersen slider that I purchased. The door came in on time delivered Free without a hassle and even Got hand carried around back to my porch. Big thank you to the whole team at LP Adams. Another happy customer

Adams is the place to go. Knowledgeable and friendly staff always extend a helping hand to meet your needs. GREAT people to do business with!
Don't let the other reviews fool you. Once they have your money they don't care. I bought a few doors for a couple thousand dollars and was having issues with them. I called 4 times and left messages. Vic didn't return my call and the 1st man I talked to was very rude. My mom has spent 10's of thousands of dollars there and she has trouble getting a response!

Hey, oddly L P Adams seems a little out of the way to a newcomer to the Berkshires. However, they have high quality stuff for all your hardware and remodeling needs. Take the trip to Dalton. It's well worth your effort -- you'll be rewarded. The staff may not always be available but they know how to help you.

Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful staff. Everything you could need from a hardware store and more. I've been going to LP's for a couple of decades and haven't found a better hardware store.
