Customer service was great. The food was good too, but some of the items lacked flavor. The red sauce chilaquiles had no flavor. The sauce seemed like water with red pigment. The only way I was able to get it to have flavor was using the pico de gallo salsa and pouring it over and it made it slighter better. Furthermore, I had a cafe de olla, and to my knowledge and experience, it’s suppose to be sweet, and unfortunately it wasn’t. I was disappointed. On the other hand, the machaca with scrambled eggs was really delicious. The meat was tender and tasted good. I also had the size of potatoes and they were good too. Oh, they also serve mimosas.
The food was very good, hot and fresh. I loved the their special cinnamon coffee. It came in a super cute cup. The fajitas were good and the salsa was awesome.Food: 4/5
Good mom & pop place… I’m Mexican so I’m a lil picky when it comes to Mexican food. The dishes are pretty authentic. Salsa de habanero has a nice spice. Got the chilaquiles verdes with rice and beans. Sister got machaca with potatoes. Not too crowded and good prices.Food: 5/5
Good food, good prices. The server was very friendly, but made me uncomfortable because I felt unable to have a private conversation with my family without him joining in. I'm sure he will learn, given time. He seemed very new.Food: 4/5
La Adelita is an awesome place for both dining in or take out. Their staff is helpful and fast. The food is delicious, even the tortilla chips. Will come back every opportunity I get.
This place has delicious food. The service is also great. I will definitely keep coming back. The camarones a la diabla are really good and spicy.Food: 5/5
We’ve been to this little place in downtown Monrovia several times and have never been disappointed. The taqueria were full of the most excellent meat and the omelette was terrific.
I had the Chilaquiles with mole. And I recommend it.Food: 5/5
Food was delicious and plentiful. We have leftovers for lunch. Kudos to the chef. The wait staff were very attentive and helpful with our party. Vegetarian options: Salads and heart homemade soupz ate phenomenal
I don’t know what changed but yesterday when I ate here the food and service was awful. I ate here once before and experience was more positive. The server acted like she was annoyed me and my partner were even there, the simple side salad tasted like dirt and ranch dressing tasted off, the chicken taquitos tasted reheated, not fresh. Never again because who has money to waste?!
