The chicken soup/Caldo was not good, and the gallina that they serve with it, was so skinny that only had boneFood: 2/5
Absolutely great pupusas in this place, and my brother loves the revuelto pupusas but I always go for the cheese ones, soooooooooooo good !
Went to grab some pupusas today at this place. Probably not coming back. The chicharrón tasted a bit sour like it was close to spoiling. The refried beans tasted burnt. I ordered chicharrón with cheese, chicharrón, and bean & cheese pupusas. I've gone to this place for a long time, their pupusas were always decent, but today it was just not good in anyway.
I've been to various pupusa stands and restaurants, this has been the best so far. It has become my go to spot when I'm craving some pupusas. Remember, pupusas take time. They are made fresh to order. If you're in a rush, call. There is a wait for your food. But it's worth it.
The food is excellent, always prepared when you order it, so it's fresh. The service is friendly, but get ready to wait a bit for your food a bit, they are always busy. The tables and chairs are a bit old, but the food makes up for it.Food: 5/5
Love the customer service and the tasty foodFood: 5/5
I guess you get what you get. The tamales was soggy, it even had a potato in it. I never seen that before. The beans was salty and like soup. The rice was ok and the street taco was so greasy. Never going back! The service was good just the food no good. At this rate I'd rather go to El Torito or Acapulco the Americanized version. Or I could be missing NM style Mexican food.
Worst experience ever. The location on Sherman Way and White Oak. They are easy to charge you for our order but did not give me everything I ordered. I get home and see food missing, that I already paid for. I call the number and they don't answer their phones. The girl was so distracted with her personal phone that she couldn't do her job correctly. Waited 30 minutes for my to go order. I had to drive back to fix my order and she said she didn't hear my whole order. Wouldn't you think that if she didn't hear or understand me that she would ask to confirm she got the correct in the first place. When I get back to the restaurant she said she never charged me for the pupusas. But in the receipt the total adds up to the pupusas. I asked her to add it up again without the pupusas and the total was different of course. So I went home without the pupusas I already had paid for. Thieves!!! Never going back there again and I'm making sure everyone hears this experience. I speak Spanish and if she did not understand me she could have spoken to me in Spanish and it would have been easier for her. Ugh. Terrible. Location on 17734 Sherman Way Reseda cA 91335
Carne asada tacos were a little bland. Meat was cooked well but no flavor. Tacos had a lot of meat though. My bf had pastor and he did not care for it.
Terrible terrible terrible service! The waitresses are rude and they charged you for any little thing. There was a hair in my good and the horchata that they served me was spoiled which they wanted me to pay for. When you ask to talk to the owner they don't give you any information.
