I am so disappointed with the quality of food or lack there of. Customer service was great and friendly, plenty of parking and space for sitting. Plain basic nothing too fancy. really The food was very salty, burnt thin steak &burnt breaded chicken. I would NoT recommend this place for what I ordered. Not even the pupusas. And they don't give any hip and salsa for appetizers and use Styrofoam plates. Expensive and not worth the trouble.
Went after work after seeing their sign on the street side. Their pupusas were really good. I specifically ordered the chorizo one and las mixtas. If am not giving 5 stars is because I also ordered a side of plantains but it was only one, cut in two for like $4. Felt a little steep since the pupusas were under that price. I liked the food though and ill likely return when I'm in the area.
Two months ago I paid $6 for the platano plate and two months later it's now $10 and the platano's look so dry and small compared to the size of the fork not worth the $10 I'm so disappointed because the last time I was here they were so delicious and looked so different.Food: 1/5
Pupusas $1.65 are great! Tamales $5.50 are not good Corn Atole not good. HORCHATA delicious.Food: 4/5
Food is delicious and authentic!! Presentation is a bit meh, everything is served in Styrofoam plates and cups. I recommend coming in when you aren't that hungry, by the time the food comes out you will be starving LOL. The pupusas and curtido are delicious tho.
The young lady and young man that took and assisted the orders were nice. Other than that, it was ridiculous. 45 minutes for 6 pupusas and they STILL were not ready. I kept being told they're being packaged but never happened. I requested a refund. Whom I believe is the owner claimed they just had a big order. I would have understood and possibly saved myself some time if I would have known that bit of information as I placed the order. Don't think I'll be giving this place a 2nd chance.
The service sucked. The ladies were in there talking, but what about me. Can i get a refill? The horchata was delicious!!! The pupusas were ok , but I've had better. Will i go back? Probably not
My husband and I tried this place for the first time. He thought it was ok even after they got the orders wrong. I ordered a chicken flautas plate plain without sour cream or any sauces. Was disappointed to open the bag and see it drenched in sauce and inedible at that point. The beans were gross and rice was crunchy. My husband asked for a carnitas burrito without onions and it was full of onions. I had high hopes, but won't be going back.
I came here for the 1st time yesterday. I ordered 1 of each taco and the asada torta so I could sample everything. I do not suggest getting the torta because you barely got any meat and it was lacking ingredients. Was like eating just bread with some beans and a pepper on it. Kind of spendy at 5.99. The tacos were pretty good... the asada and chicken were the best. The tacos were 1.79 each...carnitas lacked flavor. If I were to go back I would probably get a couple of tacos. UPDATE: I have been here a few times and on the last time I found a dark hair in my food. I will not be coming back.
