Brilliantly good in the heart of Forest Hills with outdoor seating. First time here but definitely not last. Paella was fresh and flavorful but the pork chops was star of the show. I never get into describing the food, just gotta swing on by and check it out. Parking on evenings and weekends is a true P.I.T.A but it’s definitely worth a trip.
The food was really good and the waitress was very attentive. We ordered the skirt steak , marinara paella , and the appetizer for 2. I feel like every table ordered the skirt steak it was super tender and it's not like a regular steak you can make at home. The appetizer platter gave a nice variety of Jamaican jerk wings, shrimp fritters, beef patty, and broccoli puff. The location is right in the heart of Forrest hills but parking in the area in the evening is extremely hard to find.
If I have one word to describe this place it would be “plentiful!” Plentiful food, flavors and vibe that just hits different. This is one of the best Cuban cuisine I’ve ever tried and I’m so glad I found them. The food was a lot and I mean a lot! We literally eat it for dinner took the left over for lunch and still had some left over. The food tests amazing and I don’t know how they make it but the chicken was out of this world. The rice was creamy and hits your test buds different too. The dessert was The drinks were a bit strong they are not stingy with the alcohol
This was my 2nd time and they were still amazing! Staff, drinks, and food were great! The sangria is okay, but everything else will give you an amazing experience. They check your vaccination cards before you are seated. I can't wait to go back.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Been there several times and none of the visits fail my expectations, food wise. Service is good most of the times, but it does get slow during rush hour, which is understandable to me. Love the food, even my picky three-year-old enjoys dining at Cabana. Honestly, I did not enjoy the cod that we ordered last time, overcooked and too dry but other dishes were still beyond great. I wouldn’t taken down star due to this. Would definitely be back.
Great dining experience. The service was fast/attentive our waitress was very knowledgeable and patient. The prices at first glance are a little steep but they didn't disappoint with the portion sizes and quality of the food. My only issue is the size of the restaurant is very small leaving patrons to eat close to others and not having enough space for all of the delicious food. Parking: It's in a area where parking could be a major issue during peak hours
Haven't been here in a really long time. Food is still amazing. Waitress was friendly. Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5, was because our food took an excessively long time to come out compared to the amount of people actually in the restaurant.

Have been here a few times. There's usually a wait of at least 15 minutes. The place is narrow but very popular! Hostess was courteous and welcoming. Parking will be difficult depending what time of day it is. While waiting we had a few drinks at the bar by the entrance. Bartender was friendly and fast. The passion fruit mojitos were great! It was a 15-person dinner party so there were a lot of dishes served. Unfortunately the restaurant ran out of plantains so we couldn't have some of their appetizers. We had everything from churrasco steak, to fish, fried chicken chunks, guac and chips, empanadas and more. All of it was delicious! The tres leches cake was soooo good!! It was a decent sized portion as well. Our waiter was very accommodating and patient given the large dinner party. Definitely recommend.
The location of this restaurant is located in the heart of Forest Hills and has outdoor seating. This was my first time here and it for sure won't be my last. The food is delicious and the drinks were great. I ordered the passion fruit mojito and passion fruit martini; both drinks were really good, as for food we ordered for appetizers, the tostones rellenos and for the entree, the churrasco. Service was fast and staff were nice/respectfully. I highly recommend this restaurant!
