La Carreta Mexican Restaurant

Weak for authentic Hispanic food. The margarita was a premix with very little alcohol and the food itself had no seasoning on fajitas, quesadilla, aside from the salsa. Was just bland all together. Large portions, nice table service.

Very good food. The waitress was attentive and fast the first time we went. Later that week we went back and the service was not as great but the food was still really good. Definitely will be back. Highly recommend the burritos if you're really hungry. Parking: Plenty of room to park with a trailer

Such a beautiful restaurant. Perfect for a date night or family night, or even just to people watch. The hosts, cooks and servers have a humble and caring attitude every time I go, and you can tell people aren't just numbers to them. The inside is always clean, despite how busy they are. Music, drinks and food are excellent! I recommend the Timberlake location. Well done, LaCarretta!

Excellent, efficient Mexican restaurant! Stopped in here at dinner time with a time crunch and were in and out in no time. In addition the food was absolutely delicious! I had a smothered burrito and it was one of the best I have had. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5

Can't be beat for affordable and tasty Mexican American food. They have a full bar as well with very reasonable prices. There's sure to be something on the menu you'll enjoy.

Staff is always friendly and get the job done. The food is good; it's Americanized Mexican so strict traditionalists might not be enthused, but I enjoy it. Preparation, presentation, quality and quantity are all fine. They've changed the sauce on their Tamales, I believe, and I like it better than the original one.

Everyone else in my party loved their meals. But do not get the taco salad. It’s an extremely small portion comparably, and the chicken tastes like it is from a can. There is hardly any lettuce. Opt for the nachos option. My father got the Baja salad and it had fresh chicken. I was really disappointed at the quality and size. Still, reasonable price and kind people.

We typically sit at the bar and usually show up around 11:00 when they first open and this time our bartender literally disappeared and we did not see her after she served our drinks and took our order. We grabbed another waiter to check us out. So therefore that was a little upsetting. But overall we love la carreta and will continue to go.
