Usually I am very impressed with the West Hollywood's Sheriff's Department, although that may be because they show up at Pride with a friendly smile. Although today I came in for a little more than eye candy and the Sheriff I spoke with was not only abrupt, rude and inconsiderate not to mention short, bald & tubby..., he let me know if I were to make a report it might turn back around on me and then I would become the suspect! Here's to #ServeAndProtect --- NOT!
Unsure why Desk officers handling phone calls are so rude and unhelpful when asking simple questions that as tax paying citizens we should be able to comfortably ask. Treated incredibly rude when trying to seek help on a potential parental kidnapping. This is and was a serious issue and we just needed advice. Clerk spoke extremely rude and hung up on us numerous times. Unreal. So much for calling the police
I had to pay $15 in order to get my towed car back. The officers were so prompt, professional and respectful and quick to give me the receipt. I think if you go with the positive attitude asking for help they will definitely help you the best way they can. Thank you for your service and what all you do guys.
I hope everyone remembers Lt. Dave Smith ? I use to work the door at the Body Shop on Sunset, where this scumbag use to hang out at nightly..wonder why. And of course the owners, like HASSAN, try to cater to this crooked cop, no questions asked. I will never forget when Hassan and I walked to a restaurant, located next door, and this p.o.s. asked me to " take care " of the boyfriend of Lt. Smith's wife..and by that, I mean take " care of " for good. Karma took care of this loser, the way it always does. That department is a fraud !
Called in today to help a friend and his mom through a rough patch. The paramedics were excellent and the sheriffs were very considerate of people’s feelings. Homelessness and alcohol can be rough situations for family’s to navigate. A big thank you to all involved. J.W.

I called to get information about my daughter's tags being stolen. I spoke with a smart@$$ named CLOVER. Honestly, the rudest person I've ever encountered on the phone. I intend to file a formal complaint. No one from the public should have to tolerate her mouth. BTW, my family and I fully support Law Enforcement. She's a major blemish to all Officers everywhere.
I had never been here before since id never had a need to but i went in here because i needed to obtain a stolen vehicle report that i had lost the case number to. The clerk at the front desk was the sweetest woman! She just asked for my ID and within 5-8min....she was back and gave the report. : thank you so much. Best experience:
Horrible people work for the West Hollywood station. They create false police reports, have detectives taut do nothing to help victims and are full of lies. The people that work here don’t deserve jobs or any happiness in life. They create a world that is worse for everyone.
I've been stopped for very minor reasons such as turning left on a green light in front of a police car, and had my car searched been harassed called bigoted remarks even though I'm a straight white male and been locked up with no water for several hours yelling for a guard hopelessly. if you ever see the west Hollywood sheriff's pulling you over you may want to consider crossing into beverly hills or better yet into lapd territory than letting thewe scumbag piece of s... racist antisemitic homophobic degenerates lock you up and verbally mock you and abuse you and laugh and joke about it the whole time. then lie on the police report and try to send you to prison. I respect law enforcement and the law and understand what police go through as part for theit job but these guys are a gang with nothing to do but compromise people's civil rights when they're just trying to be themselves and have a little fun or just happen to look gay and driving late at night which they also feel is an excuse to search your whole car for drugs and contraband.
