Nice local Mexican flavors. Don't be afraid to order the grilled wings. They are so crispy and delicious. Happy hour margs and tacos are on point till 6pm. Did I mention the view from the bar?
Tacos were mid AF. Costs twice as much as other taco places in steamboat and tasted worse. They weren't gross just not very good and costs double what they should. Maps also said it was a $10-20 place but almost everything it nearly $20 so it'll be more after tax.Food: 2/5
The zucchini and squash enchiladas were amazing! Beautifully decorated restaurant with a staff to match. I will be back.
I was so surprised by this fabulous little place. It was so delicious and a different take on American Mexican food. I got the zucchini and squash enchiladas and they were so good!!! The complimentary chips and salsa were yummy as well. Definitely a place to visit and eat some good food.
Great food, exceptional customer service. i was amazed at how quickly they were able to accommodate our party of 10, despite having a full house. Service was excellent, our waiter was fantastic, the food was fresh and flavorful. They went above and beyond to return a hat I left behind. I honestly cant say enough good things about La Fiesta Grill and Cantina and will definitely be going back every time I’m in Steamboat. Kid-friendliness: Fun, friendly environment.
Wasn't very busy, still took FOREVER to get food for a take out order. We ordered in store and waited. I asked for no beans in my burrito and got what looked like extra beans. Bonus, no plastic utensils to eat with. Also, it just really wasn't very good. What I was able to get separated from the massive amounts of bean was just terribly spiced. Was supposed to have onion and cilantro. Got pineapple on top instead? Was NOT worth the $17.
Just had a very bogus experience there. I’ve always recommended in the past, and would have in future, but this was odd. And I’m not going back. I donated a really beautiful sombrero for the wall, it was quickly hidden by an employee, that, in a dead restaurant, ignored me all night. I tried to order food and second drink, took 15 or more. He just walked by me, happy with his new score. It will never on the wall. Took 20 minutes to get complimentary chips. And of course I was charged full price. And no thank u. I’m done with this town
These folks are busy which is a great thing but I have NEVER had a server tell me "We are busy.. I tell you what I need you to do, when I get back I need you to tell me what you want to eat and drink"...this was my first time and I felt under pressure...well, I decided on the Chimichanga....I've never had a chimichanga made with frozen vegetables...there are a lot of things I can accept but ... in the President's favorite words..."come on, man".
Waited over an hour for table of four. Food came out after multiple conversations with owner/manager and was not even warm!. When asked to be warmed they even cooked the lettuce. We went here because the hotel said it was a good place to get a hot meal. What a mistake!
We always have a nice time here with the whole family. It's casual and the food is tasty. Some particular favorites are the salsas, the taquitos, and the molcajete style fajitas. The staff members are always friendly. Overall it's an easy-to-choose standby.
