I just moved to Naples and I was very happy with the process for signing up at LA Fitness. Peter made my move to a new gym home super smooth and was able to accommodate my busy schedule. This location is very clean and the staff warm and welcoming. I am excited for this gym to be my new home for my bodybuilding career. Thanks for having such wonderful employees and a great location!
The gym has dramatically changed in 2 years. The carpet is not only dirty but ripped and torn in a number of areas throughout the gym. Many of the walking and stair machines are visably dirty and rusting. The locker rooms are unkempt with paper towels and plastic bottles strewn about. The saunas is never cleaned. The shower stalls and urinal areas have bugs. Broken locker fixtures are not repaired. The front desk and cleaning staff have been reduced to a skeleton crew. High school kids trash the place in the afternoon. Calling corporate to alert them of these problem just puts you on their hit list. It's a shame. The place used to be very good.
Been a member here for approximately 5 years great gym nice equipment. Never really needed help at the front desk but i did today. Was greated by Daniela. She was very patient with me and helpful. She made the process of switching my membership very easy and stressless. Thanks for your time daniela.
ABOUT ROBERT; the personal trainer should not be working in this establishment due to his repeated agresive behavior to customers. He uses verbal aggression and threatening tone more than one club member and the management perfectly knows about this situations and don’t do anything about it. I recommend LA Fitness Corp to don’t hire this type of individuals that negative impacts the brand and customers’ perceptions.
This is a great gym. Very clean, open area and well maintained equipment. We come every year and actually like this LA Fitness better than the one we go to inour hometown. Courtney at the front desk is a stellar employee! Always so pleasant and helpful!
I have been a member there for years. When it first started out, the gym was fantastic. The staff greeted you and said goodbye. The bathrooms and locker rooms were clean. The equipment all worked. The basketballs were all pumped up. It was a great place to get into shape..It is the exact opposite of that now....I am hoping for a positive change soon. Otherwise they will lose their their clientele.
Nice gym. My first time at an LA fitness and tried to get the free 3 day pass but was turned away because I don’t live nearby. Poor job LA fitness. I’ll never consider a membership now.
Edit: I was wrong. Still using urinal cakes! Disgusting! Edit: they have since stoped the use of urinal cakes for air fresheners. But the sauna is still broke and always smells! ALWAYS! I don’t know why they won’t take a hose and a bottle of bleach and clean this place. It’s disgusting. The gym itself is good, but definitely needs updating for the amount charged per month. If you’re not going to use the kid care center and haven’t in 4 months, open it up for calisthenics…. Something. As for the bathrooms: urinal cakes are not air fresheners. Urinal cakes do not belong under the sink, on the floor used as air fresheners. The majority of the bathrooms are tile…….bleach the bathrooms! Clean the sauna dude, it smells horrible! Also fix the sauna heater in the men’s bathroom, half of the coils do not work therefore the sauna does not get or stay hot enough mostly under 160. In closing I will continue to come here simply because of location but know that it is disgusting in the men’s bathroom.
My first day at the gym, I had an appointment with Eric. he explained all the equipment to me, and answered all my questions about gaining muscle, from lifting weights to what to eat. I’m so far very happy with this place.
Great equipment, lots to choose from, the only problem is the locker rooms are not very clean and the shower heads are all basically broken. If you don’t need to use the locker room, it’s a perfect gym.
