An abundance of gratitude to the dispatch operator who answered my call tonight. She was extremely kind and ever so helpful. We were unable to enter the building where my sister lives as the security system was down. She assured us an officer would arrive quickly, which he did, and stayed with us until someone was able to open the door. Big kudos to the police officer who assisted us.
I've had both positive and negative experiences here... I've had to file a report here once and the police officer who helped me was very knowledgeable and was really nice. Whenever I call the parking department the woman I talk to is very rude. In my most recent interaction with her I told her what vehicle was parking over night she responded with, "Is that a question?" It was a very unnecessary response.... This is how it usually is when I call in a car for overnight parking unfortunately.
I am employed by a major medical alarm company in Illinois in health care field. I always confirm as a double check with Comm Centers and Police that we indeed have the direct 911 numbers for help so if an emergency arises we can call the responding agency promptly. Dispatcher Lockwood answered the phone at 1:03 am on a Saturday morning, she was polite, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I have served in the Fire Service for 35 years and she was top notch!
So this’ll be likely the weirdest review ever. I’m not gonna say what happened. But i am gonna say that when someone is having their worst day of their life, these officers made it so I was able to hold on to the even small amount of dignity I had left. Major props to these very professional and courteous officers and staff. La Grange police are the best around
Operator is extremely rude, unhelpful, and overall doesn’t seem to care about the community needs. Very disorganized in the way it’s run. The officers themselves were polite in my case. However, I can’t stress how unpleasant that operator was. Extremely unprofessional, not sure why she still has a job there.
Even though it's a pain to park in la grange if you're visiting, the police are so helpful!! My mom even accidentally locked her keys in the car, and they sent someone over and unlocked it for free ensuring our visit wasn't ruined. Top notch.
The lady operator was very RUDE!!!!!! She is not very helpful and her voice sounds like she doesn't wanna assist you at all! She hung up on me without saying goodbye and she put the phone down so hard and loud that it hurt my ear! Unbelievable!
I had my Uncle go to court for me because I was out of town with my job for a license tag not properly placed on the front of my car and he showed the picture to the judge and the judge dismissed the ticket Only to get a letter in the mail a week later saying that my fine is doubled? Disorganization at its finest
Very rude. Had a question about a ticket I received called. She Said I had the wrong department I asked if I could get transferred. And with an extremely rude attitude told me they're not there and hung up. Most officers there are very friendly but not this one.
I have called a couple of times, once because I found a lost dog and the other for help when com ed wouldn’t pick up and my grandma had no ac on a hot day..... both times they were rude and dismissive
