VERY overpriced. They charge $8 for a bag of tostadas! Never will go back

went in to get a bag of flour, came home and pulled a cup of flour out and found a weasel in it so i took it back to the store only to be accused of lying because “it didn’t seem like a cup had been pulled out” of the flour. save yourself time and money and take your business elsewhere. i’d rate it zero stars if i could.

This is the only place in Chapel Hill where one can find yerba mate at a reasonable price. The guy behind the counter speaks English and Spanish well, and their selection is more grand than you would expect from the window. El solo lugar comparar yerba mate. El selección de las existencias es más grande que como parece por la ventana.

The store is kind of messy, but that seems to be par for the course with Hispanic stores around here. What isn’t standard though is all the expired food. Almost everything in the store is past it’s expiration date. Several months to a year past expiration. Be sure you check the date in anything you plan to purchase here.
