La Provence is a locally owned restaurant & bakery in Beaverton, OR. Serving hearty breakfast, lunch, dinner & our artisan bread, dessert, and pastries.
In 1996, a small group of friends came together to share their passion for food and pastry from their home country, France. Soon after, they decided to open La Provence Bakery & Bistro, located in Lake Oswego, Oregon. By popular demand, and to accommodate a growing wholesale bakery, they opened a second shop on SE Division Street in Portland, Petite Provence Boulangerie & Patisserie. This location has a special glass door in the dining room so you can see the bakery at work. An opportunity arose to expand to The Dalles, Oregon, and in 2007, Petite Provence of the Gorge was opened for business. Soon after followed Petite Provence Alberta. We continue to grow and add locations, with hopes of reaching everyone in the Portland-Metro area. Our most recent store opened earlier this year in Hillsboro at Orenco Station! As a group of restaurants, we try to keep our menus and offerings similar, while still allowing our chefs creative freedom to give each location its own special character. It is our goal to bring you a bit a France with each visit. We also strive to use local products whenever possible and be environmentally responsible.
