Unfortunately, the LazyBoy furniture service department is nowhere near what I thought it would be. I bought new furniture, a whole living room set, and the love seat sheds plastic and doesn’t work. After 7 months of trying to get someone to come out, they finally came to look at my new furniture. They told me I would have to pay $40 to have my parts shipped to me. I told them my brand new furniture was like this when I got it. Their service department is pathetic when it comes to communication and customer service. If you buy new furniture from La-Z-Boy and it’s broken, they should fix it without you paying. The service department also never return the phone call and takes forever to text you back. I love La-Z-Boy furniture, but I don’t know if I will ever buy from them again because of their customer service. They then said it would take at least six weeks to get my parts in and then when the parts are in, I may schedule an appointment for them to come fix it. I am extremely disappointed in their service. If you’re not gonna take care of the customers, then why in the world with anyone buy furniture from you. The sales department was great, but their service is less than one star.
Terrible customer service. We bought a living room, dining room and now a bedroom suite from this location. The dining room table leg is not correct and we have called many times. Nothing after you pay them! Still no plan to fix a brand new, very expensive item! Bedroom suite delivered yesterday and the bed is on the floor and the mattress is terrible! Worst night of sleep in a long time. Now they tell me to buy a box spring on Amazon! Don't buy here, stay away, they will after you pay them!
I purchased a 3300.00 recliner, delivered on Friday broke on Tuesday. Called store said call customer service so I did they do not call you back. I recommend no one ever shop there again. I am disabled and was stuck in chair when it broke. Had to get fireman to get out . I will be stopping last payment on chair until I get service.
Karen was so helpful and found a great deal on a couch and recliner for me. She made the process so painless and easy, and the recliner was so wonderful that I got a second. I will be back for her help the next time I am in the market for furniture!
I have skyway liked LazyBoy furniture but their service is the worst I have ever seen. We spent over $3,000.00 on a special recliner that was a lift chair. It was for my mother in law who is handicapped and cannot get out of a normal chair to go to the bathroom, to walk or to eat. Three days after getting the chair out stopped working so now people have to carry her out of the chair. Sometimes her Care givers can't get to her in time and she soils herself. We notified service the day it stopped working on april 28th and now more that 3 months later no one has showed up yet to fix it. Today they contacted me saying it would be about another month before it could be fixed. They have lost my business forever.
I agree with one of the other posts about the service being extremely bad. The products are generally good, but if you have an issue with one, you'll be waiting FOREVER to get it fixed. We bought a reclining couch last year from this location and it was delivered already broken. It took 3 months for them to fix it then it broke AGAIN a month later becaause the repair person said it was fixed with faulty parts most likely! Finally, just recently they fixed it after almost 9 months of back and forth and they made me pay for shipping and handling of the repair parts second time! I won't buy LazBoy again after this. The repair service feels like it's run out of someone's garage.
Do not buy from this store! Our reclining couch broke and we could not lower the leg rest. After months of trying to get someone to my house to look at it, they finally ordered the parts needed for the repair. 5 months later I still do not have the part, so I called them and was told it was never ordered. I explained my couch is even more messed up from it being broken for so long and was told it was my fault for using my couch while waiting to get it fixed. I do not have multiple couches to use. I literally waited almost a year for them to do the warranty work on my couch and it still is not fixed. Be warned and go elsewhere! This place is a joke!
We purchased 2 couches, two end tables and a coffee table in March of 2022. They were delivered in several different shipments, however the coffee table and one end table were delivered damaged in December. The delivery people took photographs as did I and we were told we would hear back from Customer Service on next steps. We were not allowed to refuse delivery. After talking with our sales person, Karen Saladino, we were told again, that the Springfield office would help us. It's been 3 months and we still have not had our calls returned. I would not recommend purchasing from La-Z-Boy
Customer service is horrible. We bought a reclining sofa that was supposed to have lifetime warranty on reclining parts. The pull handle for the recliner broke and when I finally was able to talk to a person and not a machine, they told me that I would have to pay $20 shipping to get a replacement part that only costs $10. Between this a outright lies they told me when I purchased my recliner, I would highly suggest shopping somewhere else.
Our experience was wonderful. We absolutely love our sales person, Karen. She is extremely knowledgeable and made our buy experience stress-free. Karen also made the process a ton of fun! She was attentive but not pushy. We look forward to working with her again in the future.
