Quick, easy access from Rainey Street! Lovely trail along water front. Stroller and dog friendly. Superb combination of sun and shade throughout. Luckily there is a sign there to remind you how to safely use the trail after dark! Austin
Pride of Austin is back, y’all! This is a great hike, takes less than an hour, and is absolutely beautiful. My daughter was concerned that it might be unsafe, but I was packing and carrying my staff, so was unafraid. It was a pleasant surprise to see that there were no homeless folks living along the pathway. Austin has been cleaned up!
One I the best thing in Austin. I really enjoyed walking around the lake by the trail
Austin gets it right when it comes to biking and preserving nature. I couldn't even suggest an improvement to this. You get shady woods, trees old and young, serene waterways, flowers and city views. I can't even do it justice plus its a pedestrian artery to almost everything cool in the city. Catch bats on Congress, drinks on Rainey, food anywhere along the route. You can stradle cityscapes flirting with unaltered nature. Heavenly.
Beautiful Park and Lake with wonderful scenery and lots of green energy Love it! Picnic area: Excellent spot to enjoy a sandwich in peace and nature
Great for a short hike. Not too much traffic and nice serene waters. Went there end of March on a Saturday morning and saw these flowers blooming.
Very nice trail. I love it so much.
Fun little walking path to explore the river on a weekend. Lots of people out biking and running on the trail. We had wanted to ride our Bird scooter on it, but they don't allow electric scooters, so we walked instead. It's pretty shaded and flat, so nothing too strenuous.
It's one of the prettiest trails in Texas. Very well done.
