Really disappointed that I even went to this place today. The store experience was fine. But when I went home to check out my really basic fade from a 2 up and realized that one side of my head is 2 inches longer than the other side, I am beside myself.
My girl Kristen up at Westland Lady Jane's puts out the best bald fade I've seen in 20 years! And if you can't get Kristen, Mimi is is just as smooth. Love you ladies...Joe C.
Was away from my regular barber and one of the locals recommended this place and I was very impressed with the haircut I received. The place was very nice and the ladies were even nicer.
Called this week to get my son an appt. The girl told me at 4:45pm they were only taking walk ins, no appts. Got there at 5:30pm and he was told no walk in’s, appts only! They said things can change in a minute! How about make actual hours, appt or walk ins and stick to it! And why does the Lady Jane’s commercial say walk ins always welcome?!?! We took are business elsewhere & will continue to do so. Staff was rude and not apologetic at all!
Walked in here tonight at 7:19pm - was told they're closing up. When I mentioned that the hours posted say they close at 8pm, I was told "tomorrow... 9 to 7:30." Needless to say, I won't be in tomorrow. First and last experience with Lady Jane's.
my boyfriend just came in for a haircut and he had reference pictures and everything and he has very curly hair/ afro. we had very specific reference pictures, tell me why he sends me pictures of his haircut and it looks absolutely NOTHING like the reference pictures. as if they just did whatever they wanted with his hair. and with curly/ afro hair you have to be very careful and precise and they obviously didn’t listen to what we wanted. in the reference pictures his forehead was barely exposed and the shape was still nice and full. now his forehead is FULLY exposed and they cut his hair so so short it’s absolutely ridiculous. and i understand it not looking EXACTLY like the reference pictures i do but for it to look absolutely NOTHING like literally 0. is absolutely insane and unacceptable and ridiculous.
Went into this location on Saturday morning with my fiance to get a simple haircut. His stylist was Stacy. He asked for a high and tight. She could not get the lines right so she kept cutting higher and higher up resulting in a MOHAWK that was absolutely not asked for. There was another stylist there who was nice enough to try to fix it for him. While he was sitting in the chair Stacy came up to insist that it was not her fault for giving this awful haircut and immediately blamed my fiancee. Very unprofessional and he will not be returning. If you want a good barber I would highly recommend Magic down the street. We originally were going there but they were super busy because they are awesome and we regret it incredibly!
Walked in with only one person ahead of me. I waited over an hour with people coming in and going ahead of me. I understand people had appointments, but someone should have told me I would be waiting this long. I wasted over an hour of my Sunday because no one had the courtesy to tell me. I won't be using Lady janes again
I can feel the wind on my head again. Haha I think I lost some weight. Hair type: Short and crazy
Good tips still don’t persuade good work ethic. Walked in with 20 minutes left and girl told me “we’re closed”. Takes ten minutes to cut my hair. I tip too good to reward laziness. Never again
