In October of 2011, Lafayette Funeral Home reopened under new management, being affiliated with Crumpler Funeral Homes, Inc., with other locations including Raeford, Red Springs, and Pinebluff, NC. Lafayette Funeral Home is currently managed by Rick Wilhide, Funeral Director & Embalmer. Mr. Wilhide was associated with The Anchorman Quartet, a Southern Gospel Group before becoming licensed in Funeral Service. Kalen Crumpler Wilhide, Office Manager and Funeral Director, is the daughter of Frank & Dayne Crumpler, owners of Crumpler Funeral Homes, Inc.
