Nice little park "hidden" in the community. The facilities at the playground, the pergola and swings are well maintained. There is a small grass field for soccer at the back. The grass needs some maintenance if possible. There are light posts so it could be lighted during the night. Recently a chimney swift tower was added in the middle of the park. Sufficient parking spaces. Very quite and not crowded. It is next to the dog park.
When I was little, I used to play at Lafayette Park almost everyday after school, and I always had fun. I'm amazed at how much its changed
I love the park, but I was bullied there once when I was little! Two naughty kids there threw rocks at me and they threw mud on my bicycle and I told an adult, but he refused to get out of his backyard to something about the issue. My dad contacted the police station, but they wouldn't do anything about the naughty kids.
Nice and funny and not crowded
The mature trees really help keep the summer sun at bay. The play equipment doesn't get burning hot and keeps it a bit cooler. Officer Lucy Dog Park next door is an added bonus!
Surprisingly nice dog park. A little dusty but aren't they all. Water and pool available for cleanup. I plan to go back.
Park is nice and quiet. Good walking trail. Been coming here a while now
We did some dog training in the field. Then, we went to the dog park for play time. Had a great time!
Nice park with a lot of swings and a fun playset for kids. It is completely gated which is nice for some but I felt it was a little closed off.
