This place has come so far since the remodel! It's very spacious, gorgeous, and helpful in terms of resources. The staff are all super friendly and they even have a cafe which is awesome! We use the conference rooms that are available to rent out and it is amazing for taking care of personal business. Hang out, work, or learn - you'll have a good time here no matter what!
I really like this library. It is basically the best part of Lafayette quality-wise. The coffee shop is good; always tasty coffee and good quick service and I like how it’s never busy. Ngl the bathroom was kind of a cheeki one though. It was nice when we walked in; the lighting was soft, everything was clean and shiny, and it made me feel fancy. Although the toilet literally is so aggressive; it tried to attack me and sprayed me while it violently flushed. Same with my friend; we’re lucky we got out of our stalls alive. Then also one of the sinks wasn’t working and there was a sign on the mirror so she couldn’t see her beautiful face while she washed her hands. Suspicious bathroom, but overall wonderful library
I attended an Eating Vegan lecture here. The lecture was excellent and she fed us. I did not expect a free lunch. This library is very nice. I was welcomed by a staff member when I entered and was directed to where the lecture took place.
I come to this library all the time to study because it is close to my house. It has several study room areas and the facility is very clean and modern looking. But, it is way too loud, the people in here apparently do not know that it is a library and they talk as loudly as they like and it is very distracting and annoying. Make sure to bring headphones if you want to study because it doesn't seem like people know how to talk in a library.
I really like the library and it's new updates. I was surprised to find a coffee shop inside as well. The coffee shop is called Wolfes Den and it has a variety of coffee and food to offer. I would definitely call this library unique, you should stop by.
This Library is one of my favorite places to go and look for books. Even if everything at Barnes & Nobles is free, I would still pay to get books out of this library. I don't have a photo to show you the inside, but you should check it out yourself. The Staff is so amazing and kind. People here don't have a problem with being here. There is many things to do here and many places to go. I have been here at least 4 or 5 times a year and I will not stop. This place has many cool features and you can even see this on the front place. This design of the building is very cool, it is made of bricks as you can see in the front picture. My house got out wifi damaged so we had to go to the public library to do our online schooling. Many things here are very good and distracting, so please, if you can, come and check out this place as soon as you can:
I go there twice a week for crochet class. It's the best library I have ever been to
The LaFayette-Walker County Library is AWESOME! They have a great selection of books, movies, etc. And if they don't have what you're looking for, they will make every effort to get it for you. I love their little bookstore, where I can buy books cheap and benefit the library at the same time.
This place is a nice quiet getaway from the hassle of everyday life. You can bring your laptop and get on their Wi-Fi and enjoy it without anyone bothering you. The people that work there are extremely helpful and very nice. They have a large selection of books for adults and children as well. All around it's a nice place to visit. Just don't get to loud.
I have always loved visiting the library. The people are nice and the place carries that wonderful smell of books. I have been going there since I was a kid.
