Loudspeakers full blast all hours.. don't know why.. we hear it all the way up the canyon.. complained. No change.
I work in Hollywood and I was on my way home tonight I noticed a large fire starting at the Hollywood Bowl on Highland. I called Emergency Services 911 it was busy. So I called my local fire department directly and Mr Ruiz answered was very polite and helpful and when realized it was a real situation they were immediately on their way. It's very good to know as a local that we are under such care.
We had a fire in our unit 25 min ago. I called 911 because I couldn’t breath from the smoke. 30 min later NO HELP WHATSOEVER,no truck, no EMS, no nothing. I told them I couldn’t breathe. I’ve never experienced fire. I am watching smoke come out of my unit sitting in my hallway. Look at my pictures. I called at 8:34. I sent the screenshot to this post at 9:11My life doesn’t matter.
Why would you rate the fire department three stars when they're out there saving your life. You should be saying thank you for all the hard work you do.
I get sick of people crying about silly things. "They're so loud waaah!" Whatever! These guys are out there saving lives and helping. I applaud you boys!
I just spoke with the Captain of Fire House 82. Again. My landlord doesn’t care about fire code and the Captain at 82 doesn’t either and blew me off saying that our building is an ongoing renovation and asked why I don’t move. For the Captain’s information: this landlord, Lance Jay Robbins, already had a building burn down and multiple people got hurt. I am not some crazy complaint lady. They’re using this joint as an illegal hotel and there are kids and people who don’t know where the exits are staying here. Ongoing renovation DOES NOT mean fire exits may be blocked and debris left in the walkways. We didn’t have a fire door in the lobby for MONTHS. The fire hose on the first floor has been stuffed into the box for MONTHS despite me calling to let LAFD know. LAFD has run training in our building during the course of these complaints and I’m SHOCKED that when I asked the Fireman in charge about the tangled hose, he blew me off like it was nothing rather than training the person’s being trained on what it should look like. SHAME ON YOU, CAPTAIN FROM FIRE STATION 82.
These guys saved my bolls. If it weren't for them I wouldn't be here no more. Thanks people!!
Notorious location of the Richfield filling station in Scotty Bowers book Full Service
You guys are the best although it would be nicer if 882 was always in service and not crossed staffed
These are the BEST OF THE BEST!
