First visit to Lake City Hair Salon after moving to the area. The stylist, Huong, was very nice, efficient, and gave me an great haircut - definitely one of my favorites in a long time. I had a reference photo and she asked me questions to best understand what I wanted. 10/10, would definitely recommend!

I love Lake City Hair Salon!! The women who work here do a fantastic job and are so kind and good hearted :. I’ve always felt comfortable coming here as a gender fluid person. The pricing is listed as gendered but I’ve always been charged based on service just sides shaved = “mens” price; hair length cut/trimmed = “womens” and i have never felt pressured to make any changes that I don’t want to. One time when my hair was chest length they asked if I wanted to cut it. That day I said no, which they respected. but then I went home, realized I would actually look better with shoulder length hair, and went back a few days later to cut it and tell them they were right :. They have a card machine that breaks occasionally so I always pay with cash. It’s easy to get cash in the neighborhood from bartells, BECU or Bank of America!

Been going here for 10 years. Absolute Lake City legend. Precise haircuts done with amazing speed. Will work with you to get the haircut the way you want. Can’t say enough good things about the owner, co-workers, and service. Solid gold. Thank you so much!

Love this place! Came in on Saturday afternoon and got both mine and my husbands hair cut in less than an hour with no wait. Very nice woman who took the time to listen to what we wanted even though there were many people waiting. We will definitely be back!

Lee is amazing! I take my 91 year old grandmother here regularly for a perm, and they are so kind, patient, and gentle with her. She won't let me take her anywhere else because she feels so safe and cared for. I also get my hair cut here, they are the best.

What an amazing and pleasant surprise, walking into this place! I went for the first time with several photos of how I wanted fringed bangs for my long straight hair...I had not had bangs in decades. These ladies did a phenomenal job...very professional and such a deal for the price. Best kept secret in North Seattle for pro salon haircut at a super affordable price. Came here last month for the 1st time. Both ladies were soft spoken and friendly. I got a very nice hair cut that’s a lot less expensive than one I got else where. Even though there were people waiting, she took her time and make sure the hair was cut to perfection. They just earned themself another return customer!

Really excellent haircuts! My husband and I went on a Saturday afternoon to both get cuts and we were told it would be a 30-40 minute wait. We decided to get lunch while we waited and ended up coming back about an hour later and they were ready for us immediately. The haircuts were very quick and my husband said it’s possibly the best haircut he’s ever gotten! It was only $36 for both of us, so the price is unbeatable. Definitely coming back for all our future haircuts!

Good Service, Good Prices, Happy with results. Only downside is waiting as they stay pretty busy
