The fire department is a combination of career and volunteer professionals operating out of two stations. The department provides medical first response and the fire protection needs of a fast growing rural community of 15,000 residents (2000 census). The call volume for the department is approximately 1,200 per year.
Through professionalism, dedication, integrity and trainnig the Lake Cunningham Fire Department works to safeguard the lives and property and to enhance the quality of life of the citizens of the Lake Cunningham District. We will accomplish this by providing a vast array of emergency services,public relations and fire safety education. We will also strive to protect and preserve the health of our members as well as making sure our members return home safely to their families.
