Lake Forest School District 67 is comprised of three elementary (K-4) schools and one middle school (5-8). Located in Lake Forest, Illinois - about 30 miles north of Chicago on the shores of Lake Michigan - the school district is recognized both state-wide and nationally for its innovative, instructional practices and solid educational programs. The majority of our students score in the top stanines on standardized achievement tests and also exceed state standards on the Illinois Goals Assessment Program.
The K-8 curriculum includes advanced programs, gifted and talented classes, and special needs support services allowing for the development of the whole child. All educational programs are designed to continuously meet the changing needs of students in our dynamic world.
This page is intended to provide information for students, teachers, staff, parents, community members and other stakeholders.The District welcomes a healthy two-way dialogue with the District 67 community. However, personal insults against any individual – whether the individual is an employee, student, parent, Board member, or other person – are strictly prohibited. We strongly encourage all comments to be phrased respectfully, factually and constructively.
School-sponsored groups or District affiliates wishing to promote their organization or event must be approved by the Communications Department of District 67 in order to do so.
