Lake Havasu City Police Department

Officer Vega and this entire police department are the epitome of a corrupt PD. I was assaulted, choked and jumped July 3rd 2022 by a 45 year old man mind you I am a 19 year old woman only to be patronized and blackmailed by Mr. Vega himself. My assaulter has not been arrested, despite various forms of proof and witness statements. This entire police department has been avoiding my calls for 3+ weeks. Every time that I do get through, I’m told Mr. Vega will be there this day, then when that day comes he suddenly won’t be back until this day. Finally I was told he’d be there a following Thursday & back from vacation. The time came THEN I was told he’d be back this Friday. Today. Suddenly he won’t be back until this Tuesday. Every one of these authoritative figures are an absolute helpless joke. I’d have been better off taking matters into my own hands. This is exact the reason nobody feels safe or protected. I wish you would be defunded even more due to your lack of policing. To protect and serve? No to gaslight and avoid

I have had quite a bit of interaction with LHPD due to some family situations and every time I have had to call dispatch has been polite and the police officers have all been very nice, respectful and have always done what ever they can to help in the situation.. I thank them and am grateful for the service they provide. Thank you LHPD !

Public servant #322 B. McFarland was unprofessional and disrespectful as well as a liar. I'm sure when I FOIA request his bodycam footage his camera will have had tecnical dificulties and failed to record. Another feral pig to add to the database.

So sad. Lake havasu city allows jet skies to take over an entire beach. Mr. Police officer made it clear that buoys mean nothing enjoy the water at your own risk. Jet skis have all the rights over folks and thier kidos trying to cool off.

I understand why they arrested me. I was very hurt and angry and did not shut my mouth. But why didn’t they let me have my pharmacy bottled medications? They were delivered. I went through withdrawal from my pain meds and my heart pounded. High blood pressure and heart problems are not to be ignored. I was so scared and afraid to ask for anything including drinking water. I didn’t see a way of not asking for toilet paper. They said “ I know about water and medicine. How? I’m 66 and this was new and scary. I should have gone to the hospital, but I wanted to go home when they let me out. Incidentally, I was the original victim and my wife called 911 when she heard me cry out and the big thud as I hit the ground. Just saying.

Always just want to give out tickets without any warnings even when it's an innocent mistake. Just a bunch of jerks who feel they have something to prove. Go find some real criminals.

I've used the LHC Police Department on several occasions: to handle animal control, to arrive quickly at my elderly mother's fender-bender accident on McCullogh, and to oversee a drug situation down by the lake. At all times I have found the officers to be understanding, patient, and willing to expedite the situation for a quick resolution. I appreciate the authority they carry and the protection LHC residents receive. Thank you for your service LHC Police Officers !

The Police Chief and Sgt.Gutierrez are a couple of cowards and corrupt cops. I filed a complaint against Sgt.Gutierrez for his verbal abusiveness during a traffic stop. I saw his small camera attached to the top of his protective vest. I asked him if it was recording. He said it was. The next day I went in and filled out a complaint form. Later, after a couple of weeks, I received a letter from the Police Chief stating there was no evidence backing-up my claim. When I called and asked about Sgt.Gutierrez's camera, the Chief told me there was a problem with the camera and nothing had recorded. Gee...what a coincidence. What a bunch of liars.

These cops took my kid in for having a meltdown and sent her to kingman juvenile center overnight. She takes meds and have no idea what she goes through. Don't bother calling them for help my other daughter called. All they do is cause more problems down the road. NWA couldn't have said it any better.
