We had such a great time staying this week. The staff was kind and helpful. The kids loved the splash pad and the pool. We enjoyed star gazing and the camp experience. The air conditioner in the cabin worked great and kept our room nice and cold. The downsides were that the pool lining was rough and cut the kids feet. Also the water was not safe to drink so we had to keep buying bottled water. Wish I would have known earlier so I could have brought some with me. But overall a great place to stay.
First time camping here with the boys scout troop. Kid’s did rock coloring and played in the pool today. The workers are very friendly here in the office. They have regular camp sites, RV sites and cabins too. Each camp site has water, power and wifi. Will go to white water rafting tomorrow.
Supposedly they have a strictly enforced quiet time policy, but people that pull in after hours don't follow it!!! Couldn't sleep, too much noise from rude people!!! They really need a night time Guard!!! Other then that, nice campground. Lots of amenities!!! And the staff are really nice. But probably won't be back. Nearby activities: Close to the river. Lot's of mosquito's though!!!
We stayed here for a week over Memorial weekend. Kids had a blast! There was free rock painting or pay $4 for a bird house we did bird houses & went to dollar store & bought cheap craft stuff for them to paint free ice cream on Friday night, free face painting & tattoos Saturday , free pancake breakfast Sunday morning. great memories made!
This is not Tahoe, so don’t expect that. But if you can manage to disconnect from your devices and find your own fun- Fishing, Rafting, Swimming in a Lake, Boating, Jetski-ing, Star Gazing which is worth the trip in my opinion then you’ll have a good time. The WiFi is spotty- you can’t find good coffee, but the trade off is to get away from that life, right ? Starbucks is 36 miles away. Recommended as a place to disconnect so that you can reconnect with what is important
Staff are very kind and welcoming. The campground has cool country decorations. The tiny and cool bar rocks. The pool is clean. The store is well stocked. The cabins are cool to rent. Clean bathrooms. Thanks.
I went camping and it was great service. My family love it we definitely camp back in this place. Nearby activities: Lake and river are close by also they have a pool and splash water for the little 1s
Staff is very friendly and helpful, a few upgrades and it will be a 4 star koa rv park.Rooms: 3/5
Skip this one! They advised air conditioning in cabin but it wouldn't cool it. We paid 3 nights. It was absolutely awful first 2 nights. Couldn't stay the last. Manager wouldn't give refund for last. He blamed power outage but that wasn't problem. Another helpful person said all the cabins don't cool. He got a fan for us though. He tried to make us comfortable. Heard in town got new owner and they are cutting corners. That's what I seen also
This place had the site's right on top of eachother.. otherwise, the staff was greatRooms: 2/5
