Lake Ivanhoe

I have been going here since I was born, my grandfather build his house on the lake many years ago. This is the perfect spot if you want to get away and relax. It's very peaceful and the lake is very clean. There are boats mainly tubing and water skiing but not many. They are respectful and must be renting or own on the lake. It's great for going on the paddle boat or canoe. There are big stores about 30 minutes away but smaller stores nearby for things you may have forgotten. There are plenty of things to do that are not too far. Wolfeboro is about 14 miles away and is nice. I would recommend you make a trip there. If you want to rent a cabin the prices are good. Great lake and very friendly people. There is a small island but you are not allowed on it but it's nice to paddle on by. The loons are on that island with babies.

I love going camping there. I have so much fun and enjoying the fresh wide open area.

To many high speed boats going to fast. Erosion by their wakes are causing shore line damage.
