Lake Murray Flower Shoppe was founded in 2005. The owner, Lynda Boham is a certified FTD floral designer, and has been a designer for 35 yrs. She has seen many changes in the floral industry. Back in the “good ol” day’s florist could survive by waiting for the next holiday to roll around and take care of birthdays and funerals in between times. This was before grocery stores, department stores and everybody and their brother were selling flowers and plants. It seems like over night florist, were being pushed along the wayside. How in the world do you compete with the “Big Dogs”? Well, first of all you don’t take it personally. If what you do is your passion, you stay strong and believe in yourself. And you consider it a challenge to be the very best you can be and truly show your expertise and creativity. That is what Lake Murray Flower Shoppe is willing to do for the Chapin/Lake Murray area. Whether you just want to brighten someone’s day or you really want to make a statement, they will definitely create something for you that you will be proud to share.
