This is in reference to the Disc Golf Course. Lots of trees and elevation changes make this course pretty hard, but the views are amazing. Only a couple years left of this course as Gaylord will be building new hotel and golf course in that area, scheduled start is 4/2026.
Fun course! Able to kinda just let it go! Lot of fairways beside each other great morning views and really awesome range! Food Hot Dogs and Breakfast burritos were spot on!
I played the par 3 course. Fairways were decent, greens were decent. The price is very fair. If you want to play a quick 9 holes and don’t want to overpay, this is your place. Pace was fairly quick as well.
Booked a 4some one week ago, but somehow I was canceled while the rest of my group was not. We showed up, and of course someone had booked the spot with my crew. However, Paul Presely, the starter, saved the day by helping me work back with my 4some and the fifth guy went off shortly after with a different group. The course will not blow your mind, but it's cheap, acceptable condition, and not intimidating if anyone in your group is new or bad.
Disappointing. All of the greens were aerated/patchy/hard at best, no warning on booking nor arrival. The tee boxes and fairways weren’t much better. Uninspired course design, out of their burgers by 2:00 on a Friday. Just an overall disappointing experience. Won’t be back for $40-45.
For starters, the grass was in great shape everywhere, the price was also reasonable, and there is a nice cool breeze from the lake which is in view for some of the course. BUT, after checking in 20 minutes before our tee time, it took 45 minutes later to get a cart, and another half an hour to tee off, which put us an hour behind, and we got stuck behind a group of 6 and 7, we were unable to play 18 holes in well over 5.5 hours.
I am a beginner and I had horrible experience. I was not aware of the rules of groups of 4. I called and reserved 5 hours ahead for 5 players. When our party arrived and paid for our tee time they stated we had to split in group of 4. Whats really frustrating because I would have saved time and money if the course was transparent and communicated to me when I was doing my reservation. When I requested a refund to general manager because we did not even play, he was rude and denied refund even though we did not even set foot on course. I understand there could fees for lost of spot on tee time reservation which I would have no problem paying. What frustrated me why would you charge us knowing we had a party of 5 and wanted to stick together which we clearly stated while making reservation and before payment. I understand the rules but management should have explained and disclosed to us before payment.
What a gem! City owned and operated campground. Laundry hut on site with $1.50 wash and $1 dry 45 minutes! Great walking. Biking, running options by the lake. Boat ramps at day park.
One of the best driving range for practicing. Nice staffs and well maintained. I've been here for a long time, always enjoyed being out here.
Course was well kept and the clubhouse is great but play was too slow due to tee times being too close together. 4 hours and only got in 14 holes. Can't imagine what it would be like in warmer weather.
