Everything about our 3 night stay at Lake Pleasant Lodge was wonderful!!!! Carole was so helpful and kind in making our reservations. Our housekeeper, Becky, was so kind and friendly - she made sure we had everything we needed every day. The rooms were very clean and updated, with a Keurig coffee maker and mini-fridge. The location on Lake Pleasant was incredible! The motel has its own sandy beach and the view of the Adirondack Mountains is superb. They have created a lovely lakeside area with a beautiful gazebo that has tables and chairs for enjoying outdoor meals. There is a fabulous fire pit with Adirondack chairs all around it with wood provided. We were so happy with our stay and will be back as soon as we can!!!!!!
Stayed two nights for daughter’s wedding at nearby Oak Mountain. It’s a non contact check in which worked once we figured out how to get into our room. Stayed in Rm #1 which was very clean and updated. Water pressure was good Beds not the most comfy but certainly not the worse. At one point our party occupied every room and the general consensus was good. Bonus is the gazebo and fire pit with a Beautiful view out to the lake.
Generally I'm not a fan of the upstate NY experience, or the quaint little hotels with the typical quaint decor. But I have to say, this little hotel gets 5 stars from me because they shined where it counts. Seriously comfortable memory foam beds. And the BEST selection of TV channels I've ever seen in a hotel - included in the room cost. Highly recommend staying here.
This was my 4th stay at Pleasant Lake Lodge! Wonderful motel, clean and convenient to restaurants, stores and right on the Lake. Great beach, dock for boats, kayaking…kayak or boat down the lake or kayak up the Kunjamuk River. Beautiful! Hike at Auger Falls 5 miles south on RT 8. The Lodge provides free firewood, picnic pavillion and kayaks/canoes for a fee. Wonderful for Fall leaf peeping trips. Can’t say enough good about the place. Carol the owner and Becky housekeeping were wonderful.

Quaint & clean, responsive and attentive staff though not present at all times- easy to reach and quick response. Great location on beautiful lake pleasant and easy for kids to walk to ice cream and the store. stars for what is was…it’s not a 4/5 star resort.
I wanted to give only one star so poeple would stop booking so far in advance and taking all the good days but I digress. Very clean, friendly staff, nice grounds and surrounded by nice things to do and met a lot of nice people staying there. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Extremely pleased! Comfortable and clean. Was there for 2 nights. This is a great place to relax by the lake in the summer. Beautiful view!

Very pleasant staff, room was excellent and very clean. Nice beach and sitting area. Enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.
