Lake Waterford Park

What a beautiful park. We were just interested in hiking, but there are tennis courts and folks playing pickle ball as well. Not sure why it took us so long to give this a try. Trails could perhaps be better marked…. Weren’t really sure where we were half the time, but really enjoyed the trails/hiking and the beauty. Saw a green heron, pretty cool. A fair bit of tree roots around, so these trails are better with sturdy shoes/boots. Lastly, it is unfortunately near fairly substantial roads, so certain paths will have some road noise.

Beautiful park with many things to do. You can fish, hike, walk along the water, play basketball, have fun on the playground and ball field. Great place to relax and sit along the lake, watching the geese. Nice finished trails to hike on going through the woods, and up wooden steps. Beautiful floral landscape near the parking lot. Highly recommended to enjoy a relaxing day.

Fun for fishing and family time. The playground is really huge with fun, unique equipment. The only downside is that it is so busy! Even with that volume of visitors, it was still clean and well maintained. The dam area is beautiful with small trails and fishing spots. It is a wonderful place to spend the day

Fantastic park! Lots of kinetic equipment to play on. Kids of ages 2 to 11 were there having fun.

Super nice playground. Seems to be recently updated. We had fun and there was shade on half the playground in the evening. It has a fence around the playground, but kids could easily get out so don't expect it to hold them back! It has a huge mulch area with a pavilion and areas to sit.

We are adventure seekers, most especially... park visitors! This park is like a miniature Fort Smallwood Park. You have a picnic area, playground, a rustic good old bridge and a beautiful lake. Such a great scenery!!!!

Great park for families very clean nice scenery and plenty of activities to partake in. I was impressed by the rangers they were active on the grounds keeping it clean major points for having restrooms ps the playground is awesome

The playground is new & different from any other, musical experiences, various types of swings, & slides are awesome. This park even has a bouncy teeter-tooter, several picnic tables with grills, tennis courts, big field, lake with fishing, paths, waterfowl, I recommend it. We will be back often. My little granddaughter didn't want to leave this park.

Such a great place to take younger kiddos. The playground is super nice and fenced in not escape proof but nice. There is a walking path down to the little pond/lake and in the summer you see all the ducks. Large playing fields and didn’t courts to play sports on. 10/10 recommend. And it’s free.

Plenty of space for outdoor fun. Playground, tennis court, baseball pit, and walking trails. We enjoyed seeing turtles and water fowl by the water. 4 stars because the playground could use some maintenance.
