After almost being ripped off by Heath funeral home through a contract my mom signed, I contacted Jason and he welcomed my problems as his own. His knowledge and caring was evident over the phone and even more when we met in person. He stepped up to comfort and aid my family at the time of my mother’s passing and I would be happy to recommend anyone to consider their services. It’s obvious that the management of this funeral home cares about its reputation and the lives of those that they help in this process. Their professionalism is top notch.

I lost my husband of 32 years of marriage. I was referred to this funeral home by someone who had lost their wife. My husband was cremated without a funeral. We live in Florida and he is from Ohio. Jennae was so easy to talk to. She made me feel very comfortable as much as I could be in that situation. She explained everything and answered all my questions. She never push me into any kind of decision. Everyone at the funeral home is very helpful and considerate. I would highly recommend them.

While moaning the passing of my dear friend I was very pleased with the services provided by the Preacher and the Staff, however I was very disappointed and annoyed with the Funeral Director constantly coughing in my rear. With COVID on the rise in this area I became very uncomfortable being unmasked in such close quarters. I would hope in the future Lakeland Funeral Home would insist on mask are available and there staff in not sick.

Lakeland Funeral Home provided services, but more importantly, grace to my sister and me after our dear aunts passing. The memorial was beautiful as I had planned and Jannae was responsive and available on email. On the day of, Monica and the staff treated us with respect and kindness.

I was very pleased with the services I recieved from Lakeland Funeral Home upon my father's death. I was worried when I had to call in the middle of the night from the hospital. Not only did they answer, they said they would take care of everything. And they did. Everything I could of worried about was taken care of. A record was kept of the conversation with my dad from ten years ago, they knew his wishes, and that made decision making much easier. The staff was compassionate, supportive and understanding, but I was truly amazed when Jason called a few weeks later to see how I was doing. Thankful and blessed that my dad chose Lakeland Funeral Home.

Lakeland Funeral Home, especially Ron Hicks, Monica and Jason, made this very difficult time in my life run as smoothly as possible. They were loving, supportive and professional. Ron and Monica went above and beyond to help take care of some special problems I had. I never felt pressured or like I was “just another client “. During a tragic and stressful time, everyone with whom we interacted was genuinely caring and dare I say, loving. From Monica and Michael who literally took us by the hand during all steps to Elizabeth who has followed up with us many times, we have felt great respect and support. My parents recently passed away 4 weeks apart. In 2006 they made arrangements through Lakeland Funeral Home as to their wishes. As hard as everything was for us Jennae and the staff walked us through everything. Jennae patiently guided us and explained everything we needed to know and how it all worked. As far as the actual service went , there was not one moment that she was not available to answer any questions. After all was said and done she was still available and called me right away when I had questions about transporting my parents’s remains. Everyone was so efficient, kind, knowledgeable and compassionate to our needs. I would highly highly recommend them to work with any family in such a time of grief. We worked with Lakeland Funeral home for both our father and mother’s funerals. They did a great job. Very empathetic yet very organized and efficient. It was as good as a situation like that can be.
