A Beautiful, Scenic, well-maintained park. We went on hot summers day and it was absolutely packed! We decided to do the boating this time £5 per person for 1 hour. The queue goes down a lot quicker than you think. The ice cream van queue doesn’t seem to change but it does go down, promise. Mr Whippy still doing his thing. A great place to for a walk. Lots of couples, family and friends out and about. A pleasant walk around the ground, even for those with limited mobility. The worst part about this park is trying to find parking. I’d advise getting the tram , it lands right outside the park and it’s inexpensive. Definitely worth a visit.
Enjoyed, small quiet museum with artefacts, various exhibitions, and shop. Nice little cafe at both buildings. Very busy at the theatre. Good for families, a park, mini golf and a walk around or a go on the boating lake. Oh, and for anyone that interested this is where one of the 'Afterlife' benches is located.
Stunning place with a beautiful lakeside walk, and woods and wildlife to amaze everyone in the family. Check before you go that cafe is open as it wasn't when we visited on a rainy Saturday takeaway available. Playground for little ones and and boats for hire for an hour on the lake.
Took our son to see the Singing Mermaid at Lakeside after Christmas and loved the show. Booked wheelchair accessible seats in advance but unfortunately he had been unwell and we weren't able to attend but the box office were really helpful in rearranging the tickets for our second attempt. Puppets were mesmerising and the puppeteers amazing. A really enjoyable event
Great place. My son loves the walks around the lake seeing all the wildlife and feeding the squirrels
Fantastic place well worth a visit with Highfields Park next door. Regular changing schedule of theatre plays, museum exhibitions along with excellent catering options. A great improvement on the old pavilion that used to stand on the same site .
Very nice place to visit to see a regular changing every 3 to 4 months art exhibition. Small cafe to visit before you start, which is reasonably priced, and serves great scones and coffee. Small carpark for visitors, and not for students, as the premises are close to Nottingham University campus. Nice lake outside to see wildlife, have a canoe ride or walk around for a stroll
An amazing and beautiful place to visit, free parking. Public toilets and a reasonable priced cafe. Going on the walk and feeding the squirrels is so much fun.
Fantastic place for everyone. You can hire a boat or kayak realy cheap. You can fun with minigof as well.
Can't fault this place boats, tress, park, arts all in one place love it was always happy wen working up at uni site go eat lunch outside near lake car park very good but can get rather busy when schools out or park events are on
