I am a brand new patient, after being with my former dentist who retired and left his practice with his partner for 30+ years. I was uncomfortable going anywhere new, meeting new people who did not know my complicated dental history, and feeling very overwhelmed at the prospect of needing more dental care after not having been seen in a few months at my former practice. The staff was very friendly but not overkill, explained all processes to me, and was kind and welcoming. When Dr. Century came in after my X rays were done, she made it clear that she was laser-focused on me/my needs/my questions, etc. She explained all the workings of my mouth, and included other areas like my sinuses, jaw, and bone structure. She clearly is brilliant without being arrogant. She knows her profession. I have had extensive work done over the years, and yet she did not make me feel like I was a freak. : She was compassionate and positive. Yes, I need to address a dental issue--but there was no pressure to get moving on it. She spoke to me for over an HOUR after doing an initial exam. I deeply appreciated her efforts. This practice is 1/4 the size of the mega one I left, but there is no compromising on the state-of-the-art technology that I was used to. It is evident that Lakeside has all the most advanced technology and services, but not the mindset of being profit-focused to the detriment of the patient, which is what happened at my former practice.
I have been going to Lakeside Dental for over 20 years, and I have to say it has been an incredibly positive experience! Even when getting work done, which is not exactly fun, the staff all make it as easy and painless as possible. I especially appreciate Dr. Century's professionalism and way of keeping the patient informed of the process. It takes a lot of the anxiety away. Plus you can tell they all enjoy working together which gives the place a really friendly vibe.
My experience at Lakeside Dental was excellent. The staff is friendly and professional. The office has state of the art equipment. Over the years my extended family has been treated by Dr. Century and her staff. Her chairside manner is exemplary. She advocates treatment for the well being of the patient and uses common sense when choices are to be made. I recently had a cleaning procedure with someone new to the staff. She was outstanding. I feel safe and well taken care of at Lakeside Dental. If there is ever an emergency, she and her staff are there for you 100 percent.
Easily the best dentist’s office you will ever go to! All of the staff members are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They have the most up to date equipment to provide the most advanced diagnostics and treatment available and they stau on top of the absolute newest dental information to make recommendations and guide care that other dentists aren’t as knowledgeable about or can’t do. The perfect place for a second opinion if you were questioning a dentist you saw elsewhere and want someone who can help more! Worth every penny spent, their quality cannot be matched! They are pet lovers and you will often get to see and spend time with an employee dog during the appointment to make it so much more enjoyable, if you have a dog allergy notify them in advance and I believe they will make sure to not have dogs there that day and clean thoroughly. Even in the lobby and bathroom, their attention to detail to provide only the highest quality of care shines through! Perfect for all ages, I have been using them as my dentist for over 20 years. They also will take time to educate you to empower you at home to provide yourself the best care outside their office.
I have a daughter with high dental anxiety due to some unfortunate previous experiences. I had really high hopes for this dental office, as the first few visits were amazing, I left the second to last visit breathing a sigh of relief that we finally overcame a significant issue. To my dismay, the last visit was nothing like the first couple. Dr. Century is amazing but the hygienist was extremely unfriendly and made us feel not only unwelcome but made my daughter feel guilty for having anxiety. She went so far as to say in front of my daughter who was already visibly upset and crying that she would need to see another dentist where they would ‘hold her down’ and put her to ‘sleep’. As a parent this created an additional layer we will now have to break through, and instead of breaking the cycle we have perpetuated it. I can appreciate we are not an ideal patient due to her anxiety but I do believe there was an alternative way to communicate the issue. Disappointing.
Best dental service ever!!!!!!! Dr. Century is amazing and her entire staff are awesome. We moved to Wisconsin so the drive to our appointments is 30 miles each way but it is worth it for the fantastic service!!!!!
Dr Century and her staff are fantastic Professional and personable Cutting edge technology Offered options when I needed major work I actually look forward to my cleanings and know if more needs to be done it will be painless and I will be pleased with the outcome
Janet and her team are rock stars teef down. Glad I found her through a family recommendation and will never go anywhere else. If you need a dentist for them pearly whites, they're the team to go to.
Dr Signla was superb. I had broken a crown. He was able to see me that day to bond the area for temporary pain relief and I had a new crown the next day. He was very patient, kind, and overall a fantastic dentist and experience.
Dr. Century is an amazing dentist, with an equally amazing staff. Everyone I’ve encountered has been professional and efficient while being kind and gentle. First time ever in my life I actually enjoy going to the dentist. Wish I’d found them years ago.
