The campground is beautiful, quiet and well taken care of. A little slow for the middle of June but the staff were amazing and very helpful. The views and the experiences were great. All of the facilities were very clean, a little older and much more rustic than some other campgrounds. Every bit of our week stay was well worth it. We were even able to bring our boat over and dock it for the week. Pretty amazing place. What a great location as well only a short distance, 5 minutes to downtown Harrison, and 10 minutes to bridgton and the great old school drive-in. Thank you so much Brenda!!!
We have been coming to Lakeside Pines Campground since 1981, we missed 2 years in all of the 42 years. It's a family run campground right on Long Lake in Bridgton Maine. Our son grew up on this campground, we were living in New Jersey and after he grew up, married and lives in another state, we moved to FL and we are still coming here from FL.
Pretty forest setting campground. Lake is beautiful..and there's a.new playground. People a friendly and relaxed. Seems very family oriented. Oh yes..the pizza here is pretty good. Some sections the sites are crammed together while other sections the sites are huge and spacious. Was disappointed to discover we did not have a 30 amp electrical box nor sewer. The electric "outlet" and water is in a strange location, 4 ' from the fire pit....good thing we had 2 extension cords and 2 water hoses. Use of AC is not permitted although I could hear it run in many of the seasonal sites...they have separate meters and perhaps 50 amp service...but transient campers cannot run AC. The most frustrating thing is the dog barking.... Nobody seems to do anything about it....same big dog barking today as yesterday and last NIGHT. Plus a small dog this afternoon that I'm guessing was left in a camper because it is almost non-stop. The Campground owners should patrol on foot a couple times a day and put their foot down on the barking. .
Does have a beautiful lake and play grounds .there are a lot of seasonal campers here actually seems most are , washers and dryers area are kept clean has shower. The bathroom does not have any thing for you to dry yours hands no paper towels or a hand blower. Didn't rent any boating service or buy food so can't say if good or bad . Mostly quiet but there are a few barking dogs . The chipmunks are very friendly there are two who will come right up looking for food . We stayed four nights on Tuesday night there was an outdoor movie for the kid's. Beach was also clean .not much to do in the area except hiking.
Need to start spraying for bugs earlier in the season. In my opinion. They don’t typically start until Memorial Day. So the season campers suffer until the busy weekends. In my eyes don’t make your money makers suffer. Spray twice or spray earlier. Your seasonal guests are the ones who keep you up and coming!
Very family friendly campground and all visitors and seasonal people were very polite and friendly. my kids loved playing in the water and beach. water was very clean and beach was well kept. We rented a small site for tents there and it was a great experience minus the thunderstorm the came through. Bathrooms were good for what they are. Good size campground took walks most mornings with my 8 month old before quite time ended and it took me about 45 minutes or so to walk around the entire campground. Overall I would go back again.
Awesome campground. Wonderful lake access. Beautiful wooded lots. A camp store and a kitchen if needed. Boat launch, docks, and lots of other amenities. I highly suggest a stay at this campground.
If you have time to go camping I would suggest camping at lakeside pines campground
Best campground ever. Have been coming 20 years. Our children love it here and now return as adults with their friends to share the experience.
A great camp that has a two beaches both with rafts that are fun to play around on. They also have a small store/arcade that is great if your looking for a sweet treat or some camp merchandise. As well as that they have a rec hall where you can play some darts, poker, or horse races on weekend nights. Oh and did I forget to mention the beautiful view of long lake as well as the private marina. My one complaint is that the bathrooms are not very clean this may be because the stalls are old but it is still an issue.
