This was our first year being seasonal campers here; far exceeded our expectations! Managers Julia and Mark are top notch. All staff were friendly and helpful. Sites are large. Nice, clean pool. 1 women's bathroom/shower and 1 men's bathroom/shower that staff keep very clean. Laundry room has one washer and one dryer. Also has a fenced in dog park. Quiet, peaceful, clean campsite. We had a wonderful time at the Canada Day events/BBQ and fireworks. Great location. Located across from the St Lawrence River where you could launch a kayak/canoe or take a beautiful ride or walk on the bike path. 10 minutes from Upper Canada Village. 2 minutes from a grocery store, restaurant, gas station and coffee/bakery shop. Overall, we highly recommend this campsite.
Lakeview Campsite exceeded our expectations. They accommodated us on short notice after our original plans fell through. The owners were friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. The seasonal guests created a welcoming and friendly community. The park itself was quiet and provided a peaceful environment. The spacious lots allowed for privacy and comfort. Overall, Lakeview Campsite is highly recommended for its friendly atmosphere, tranquility, and spacious accommodations.
We pre-booked as it was June weekend. When we arrived we were given a long narrow site that our rig would not fit into. It wasn't wide enough. The girl on reception was very helpful and rang her boss. They eventually gave us a vacant seasonal pitch which was a better size and location further back from the road. There are mainly seasonal pitches, all older people that we saw but very friendly. A couple befriended us and took us out on Saturday to Brockville. We walked along the parkway opposite which goes past McLaren campground - this is huge with it's own beach which we walked down to. Popular with Quebeckers, families etc. Pitches looked big, it looked really nice. We also walked along the riverside walk almost to the bird sanctuary. Beautiful, surrounded by water & nature. This walk goes past Farran campground - another massive place surrounded by the river. Back to Lakeview. There are only one male toilet / shower and one female. The urinal was out of action in the male toilet. There was no handle or lock on the door of the female toilet. The facilities were kept clean and there was plentiful hot water. There is a laundry room. There is a small pool.
Very nice campground, we had a nice and quiet stay! We arrived after the opening hours, and Julia waited for us! Very good service! Thank You Charles
2022 was our first seasonal stay we love this place people are friendly staff is very helpful and friendly close to many stores coffey shop and grocery just along hwy 2 near the st Lawrence River lots are very big and roomy pool his very nice we are planning to stay there for a very long time
Lovely, peacefully, and well kept campsite with many opportunities to enjoy a beautiful sunset ! Unforgettable friendly and caring staff !! You won’t be disappointed
Friendly and helpful at the office even gave us some very dry wood to help start our fire. Bathrooms were immaculately clean. Nice site to spend the evening, quiet and peaceful. No ice available to purchase but very close was a gas station with a variety store so not an inconvenience at all. Would definitely come and stay at this campground again.
What an amazing experience! So fantastic, especially if you have small children. The park is just great! Friendly, helpful staff and other campers were nice as well. Great place with everything you need around. Also only 90 min from Montreal. Thank you!!
This is our 5th year as seasonal RV campers at this park. We really enjoy the quietness of the park. People who are annual return campers take pride in dressing up their lots with flowers and such. No rowdy partying just quiet respectful fun around a camp fire. Awesome clean swimming pool. In a few previous reviews there are comments made that staff appear rude... there are rules like any provincial camp park such as stopping and checking at the office. The staff are in a position abit of acting Security of all camper's property as well it is a business and visitors need to respect that there are visitor fees. Experienced campers are familiar with the camp ground protocols. Those who are unfamiliar feel they are free to drive in and around without checking in then once get informed by a staff member should realise it is a private park and not feel they are being rude. Also, watch your speed. It is 10 k. Great over night campsites for tent or camper too. We have hard working staff here. I commend them. S. Dalmer and R. Stark
I've been camping here for 30 yrs it's my little piece of heaven. It's a lovely quiet place with activities for family and if you just want to be quiet you can and listen to the birds
