Lakewood Golf Club

Beautiful and busy course. But of course there was the Balloon launches at the airport.

Have played this course many times over the years, and have always been respectful of the course, other players and the staff. My handicap son has come with me on several trips, in the past year he has taken a interest in playing hopefully getting to play in the special Olympics. This afternoon we went to play nine, he was struggling some today and with the cloud it got dark on us faster than we hoped. We were finishing up on 16 and calling when I assume the owner came driving down in a pickup, and rudely said they expected us to be in by dark, then spun off back to the club house. We got back to the club house and I parked my cart. A lady came out and I told her I was sorry, but the cloud cover made it darker earlier, before I could say anything else she said she should have to put carts this late, it was 5:30. So I told her not to worry there were plenty of golf courses and this would never happen again. Have a good night.

In fact it was festive mood in the ground, from 2'o clock and at about 5 pm so many hot air balloons were launched it was spectacular show last week

Course is in very good condition. Staff is friendly and always helpful. Only wish they had a driving range.

What a great surprise this course was today! The greens are absolutely immaculate and roll true. The fairways were a little thin but it is February so no big deal there. Would easily recommend. Thanks Lakewood!

This course is in very good shape and I was pleasantly surprised how well it had drained given how much rain that had fallen the night before. The greens are in great shape...a bit slow for my taste but rolled true and consistent. The tee boxes were in the best shape of any course I've played this year in the area. The fairways are coming in nicely and are in good shape as well. The staff was very friendly and the course was very fair and at a great value...I've paid a lot more to play golf in this area and course maintenance seemed absent.

Spent alot of money at this place over the year's, however I will never give them another dime. Was made to leave the course due to a flag on my vehicle parked in the parking lot. Let Biden and his flunkies keep them busy

Very good course. Love the first few holes with small.planes landing next door! Course was in great shape and price was very reasonable

before my round could even start i was rushed by an old man it was 15 minutes before my tee time and he said i should be on the tee box that they were trying to rush people through. not to mention that the fair ways looked like a cow pasture along with having to wait on the tee box after being rushed at one point there were 3 different groups playing one hole. i will not be going back to this course i have played a lot of courses and have never been rushed onto the tee box 15 min before i was supposed to tee off. i would not recommend going to Lakewood golf club unless you like being rushed through a round of golf.

Greens and sand traps are in good shape. Fairways are in fair condition. While other golf courses around the area have raised their prices quite a bit Lakewood still remains pretty reasonable even with their price hick.
