I see that most reviews are around people's outcome of their court hearings vs the experience they had with the people who play a part in court operations. I didn't get the exact outcome that I wanted but was able to settle at a reasonable amount that I could live with. The Security Guards were friendly and the Clerks were unbelievably professional and exceptional to work with.
Judge Carrol has a few dui's himself has the audacity to yell at other people and belittle them for the same thing not me . Also has a D.V. . Mary in probation is a tyrant and will lie and bend the truth & the law to get you to violate.
After giving 30 days notice to tenant to evict and giving 3 days to evict my 84 year old father decided to go to Lakewood Municipal Court to get a court order get the tenant out of the house because we have no lease. Magistrate Regis McGann did not follow the laws of the ohio revised code Section 1923.02 & 1923.04. My father 84 years old went to Lakewood Municipal court and the Magistrate Regis Mcgann ruled against my father to evict a tenant that does not pay rent and has no lease. We paid $150 to file with the court and the court does not follow the law according to Magistrate Regis McGann. Magistrate told my father to sit quietly and ruled in favor of tenant that has no lease and does not pay rent. Lakewood Municipal court Magistrate Regis McGann and Judge Tess Neff do not follow the law.
Judge Carrol is best know for his racism and drinking and driving consequence free. His courtroom is a circus and he will find you guilty regardless of evidence. He's tried many times to become a federal judge but can't because of his CRIMINAL past. He's an addict and gets no respect from other professionals with law degrees nor his family. He is a joke even amongst his own children.
There is a lot of entrapment going on in this city and court. The one thing they can do is not smile about it when you go to have to deal with the clerks.
Probation refused to answer my calls no call backs
The traffic bureau department take entirely too long. We shouldn’t be waiting longer than our court appearance.
Never had a bad time here, not sure why all the negative feedback. Maybe if people didn't break the law they wouldn't have to be all mad at the "man".
They are still concerned about covid and the health and safety of the patrons. I really appreciate this.
